PETER E. GOSS is a founding member of Wendt Goss, P.C. and has been practicing in the areas of personal injury and mass tort litigation for several years. He has represented and obtained favorable results for numerous victims of automobile collisions, slip and fall accidents, severe burn injuries, railroad accidents, and numerous others. Mr. Goss is a member, in good standing, of the Kansas, Missouri, and New Jersey state courts. He also is a member of the United States District Courts for the Districts of Kansas and New Jersey. Mr. Goss is actively involved in several professional organizations, including the American Association for Justice, the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, and the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association. He currently serves as a director of the Kansas City Metropolitan (Young Lawyer Section) Bar Association and is the KCMBA Young Lawyer Section treasurer. Mr. Goss earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas and attended Washburn School of Law in Topeka, Kansas. WILLIAM L. HUBBARD is a partner in the Kansas City law firm of Hubbard & Kurtz, L.L.P., where he practices in the areas of estate planning, probate, elder, and special needs law. He has been certified as an elder law attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation and has lectured on estate planning, elder law, corporate and probate law. Mr. Hubbard is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association (Probate & Estate Planning, Tax committees), The Missouri Bar (Probate, Elder Law and Tax committees), the American Bar Association and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He is a founding member of the Missouri chapter of the Council of Advanced Practitioners (past president, outstanding elder law attorney). Mr. Hubbard earned his B.S. degree from Northwestern University and his J.D. degree from the University of Missouri, where he was a member of the Missouri Law Review. K. KIRK NYSTROM is the principal of Nystrom Law Office, in Topeka, Kansas, with extensive experience in the areas of senior law, estate planning, real estate and probate law. He earned his LL.M. degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City, his B.B.A. degree, School of Business Scholar, from Washburn University, and his J.D. degree, Barrister's Society, from Washburn University School of Law. Mr. Nystrom marketed real estate and held a Kansas real estate broker's license before he began practicing law. He taught real estate fundamentals at Washburn University, and he often lectures for various professional groups. Mr. Nystrom is a member of the Probate Committee of the Topeka Bar Association and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. SARAH S. RUANE is an attorney in the law firm of Wagstaff & Cartmell, LLP, where she focuses her practice in the area of civil trial work with an emphasis on medical malpractice, personal injury, products liability and business litigation. She earned her B.A. degree from Wake Forest University and her J.D. degree from the University of Kansas. Ms. Ruane is licensed to practice in the federal and state courts of Kansas and Missouri. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association and the Lawyer's Association of Kansas City. Ms. Ruane is active in the community and currently volunteers for the Saint Luke's Hospital Foundation and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
