KORIAMBANYA S. CAREW is a member in the law firm of Baker Sterchi Cowden & Rice, L.L.C., where she focuses her practice on various aspects of tort liability, product liability and employment litigation. She has 1st and 2nd chair trial experience and defends individuals and corporations in all phases of litigation. Ms. Carew focuses a substantial amount of her practice in torts liability and her experience includes representing one of the world's largest retailers in a variety of tort claims. Her prior labor and employment experience includes working extensively with unions, negotiating and revising employee policies to comply with federal and state law, and investigating and defending claims of discrimination before administrative agencies and in civil litigation. She continues to represent clients through all phases of litigation in employment cases once a lawsuit is initiated. Ms. Carew earned her B.A. degree from Westmar University and her J.D. degree from Drake University Law School. FLOYD R. FINCH JR. is a founding partner of Finch & Campbell, LLP, in Kansas City, concentrating in antitrust, business litigation and intellectual property. For 30 years prior to founding his own firm, he practiced law with the Kansas City firm of Husch, Blackwell, Sanders, LLP. Mr. Finch was law clerk to Honorable John W. Oliver, the chief judge of the U.S. District Court, Western District of Missouri. He was named a Super Lawyer by Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyers since 2005 and he is listed in The Best Lawyers in America from 2007 to present. Mr. Finch frequently lectures on issues regarding experts, trial advocacy and damage analysis. He lectured in antitrust law at the University of Kansas School of Law. Mr. Finch is admitted to practice in Kansas and Missouri and before the U.S. Supreme Court; the U.S. Court of Appeals (Tenth Circuit and Eight Circuit); the U.S. District Court of Kansas; and U.S. District Court (Western District of Missouri). He is a member of The Missouri Bar. Mr. Finch earned his A.B. degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Missouri and his J.D. degree from Harvard University.

JAMES R. JARROW is a partner in the law firm of Baker Sterchi Cowden & Rice, L.L.C., with offices in Missouri and Kansas. He regularly tries lawsuits, as he practices in civil litigation in both state and federal courts. Mr. Jarrow serves as national trial counsel and regional trial counsel for several clients. He has lectured to various professional groups on litigation issues. He is the editor of The Missouri Bar's Professional Negligence Section of the Court's bulletin.

MICHAEL D. MATTEUZZI is a founding shareholder of Waldeck, Matteuzzi & Sloan where he practices in the area of civil litigation including transportation/trucking litigation, catastrophic injury litigation and products liability litigation. He is a former adjunct professor at the University of Missouri Law School, Kansas City where he taught trial advocacy. Mr. Matteuzzi is a frequently requested lecturer on trial strategy and trial advocacy. He is a member of the Trucking Industry Defense Association, the Transportation Lawyers Association, The Missouri Bar, and the Kansas and Kansas City Metropolitan bar associations. He earned his B.S. and B.A. degrees from the University of Missouri, St. Louis and his J.D. degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City.

CHRISTOPHER F. PICKERING is of counsel in the Shawnee law firm the Smith Group, P.C. After earning his B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of Iowa, Mr. Pickering earned his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Creighton University. From 1982 to 1984, he served as law clerk to the Honorable Richard H. Ralston, U.S. District Court, Western District of Missouri. Mr. Pickering is a member of The Missouri Bar, the Kansas Bar Association and the bar of the Federal Courts for the Western District of Missouri and the District of Kansas. He is also admitted to practice in Colorado. Mr. Pickering is a chapter author for the revised Kansas Ethics Handbook , and is a frequent speaker on the subjects of trial advocacy and expert testimony.
