DANIEL N. ALLMAYER is a shareholder in the Kansas City law firm of Allmayer & Associates, P.C. His main areas of practice are civil trial and appellate with concentration in vehicular defense, premises liability, workers' compensation and insurance coverage. Mr. Allmayer earned his B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Kansas. He has spoken for various professional groups. Mr. Allmayer is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan, Kansas and American bar associations, and The Missouri Bar, the Defense Research Institute, and the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers. CHRISTOPHER A. BRACKMAN practices in the Independence law firm of Furry and Smith, P.C., primarily in the areas civil litigation and insurance defense. He is admitted to practice in Missouri and Kansas, as well as before the U.S. District Court, Western District of Missouri and U.S. District Court, District of Kansas. Mr. Brackman has successfully tried cases to judges and juries in Missouri and Kansas state courts, and has argued before the Court of Appeals of Missouri, Western District. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Missouri - Columbia, and his J.D. degree from the University of Missouri - Kansas City, where he was an editor for The UMKC Law Review and The Urban Lawyer. Mr. Brackman is a member of The Missouri Bar, The Kansas Bar Association and the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association. LAURIE Del PERCIO is the lead litigation attorney for The Horn Law Firm, where she focuses her practice on complex injury and death cases involving auto and truck collisions, medical error, premises liability, and work/industrial accidents. Prior to joining The Horn Law Firm, Ms. Del Percio practiced as an insurance defense attorney representing large insurance companies in personal injury litigation. She earned her J.D. degree, with distinction, from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and her B.A. degree, with distinction, from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Ms. Del Percio is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the Missouri Trial Lawyers Association and the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association. She is a recipient of the Thomas E. Deacy, Sr. Memorial Trial Practice Award and is a member of the Order of Barristers. TIMOTHY J. MUDD has been regularly trying lawsuits since 1992. His trial practice focuses primarily in the areas of prosecuting and defending personal injury lawsuits and first-party insurance actions, as well as representing defendants in criminal actions. After spending the first 11years of his legal career in the law firm setting, in 2003 Mr. Mudd opened his own law practice in Kansas City - The Mudd Law Firm. He has been a regular contributor and speaker at presentations pertaining to trial advocacy, personal injury lawsuits and insurance litigation. Mr. Mudd is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts in Missouri, the Army Court of Criminal Appeals, and the state and federal courts of Kansas. He recently prosecuted the successful appeal in Countrywide Home Loans v. Allstate, which effectively ended the practice in Missouri of mortgage companies obtaining windfall-recoveries through foreclosures on fire-damaged properties. Mr. Mudd's professional memberships have included the Defense Research Institute, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Kansas Association of Defense Counsel. He currently maintains an active membership in the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, the Platte County Bar Associationand the Missouri Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Mr. Mudd earned his bachelor's degree, cum laude, from Mount Marty College in Yankton, South Dakota and his law degree from Washburn University School of Law in Topeka, Kansas.
