March 9 - Overland Park JULIANN W. GRAVES is a senior attorney with the law firm of Mullins & McMillan, P.A. in Lenexa, Kansas. Her primary area of practice is representing businesses and financial institutions in all facets of their credit and collection matters in both state court and bankruptcy court. Ms. Graves' practice also includes defending employers, insurers, self-insurers and TPAs in workers' compensation in the states of Missouri and Kansas. She earned her B.S. degree, cum laude, from Missouri State University, Springfield, Missouri and her J.D. degree from UMKC Law School, where she served as the business editor of the UMKC Law Review. Ms. Graves has more than 20 years of experience in the area of creditors' rights practice, including litigation, bankruptcy, construction/mechanics' liens and foreclosures. She is a frequent lecturer at regional seminars on these topics. HETLEY is an attorney with Hetley Law Firm, P.A., where he has more than 18 years of experience in the field of creditors' rights and remedies. He has written and co-written many articles; and he was the co-editor of the Kansas Bar Association Bankruptcy Handbook (2nd ed., author of Chapter 5A), and co-wrote Secured Transactions Handbook for Wisconsin Lawyers and Lenders, University of Wisconsin Law School and University of Wisconsin Extension. Mr. Bruce is a fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy, a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and an associate member of the National Conference of Chapter 13 Trustees. He practices in the areas of bankruptcy, collections, real estate and insolvency. Mr. Bruce is a member of the Wichita, Kansas and American bar associations. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Chicago and his J.D. degree from Washburn University of Topeka. CURT N. HOLMES earned his B.S. degree, cum laude, from Idaho State University and his J.D. degree at the prominent J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Between 1990 and 1991, he interned with the criminal defense firm of Whittier, McDougall, Souza, Murray & Clark in Pocatello, Idaho, before practicing as an associate with the notable personal injury firm of Jenkins Law Office in Idaho Falls, Idaho from 1992 to 1995. In 1995, Mr. Holmes left the large firms to open his own office in Pocatello, Idaho. He worked a broad practice, which included family law, criminal defense, bankruptcy, personal injury and civil rights. In 2008, Mr. Holmes closed his practice to move with his wife, Kathy, to the State of Kansas after she received a job transfer.
