MATT BARBERICH is a consulting manager of MarksNelson Vohland Campbell Radetic LLC. The vast majority of his time is devoted to business valuations, forensic accounting and litigation support services. In Mr. Barberich's time at MarksNelson Vohland Campbell Radetic LLC, he has been involved in more than 200 business valuations of closely-held companies in a wide-variety of industries. In addition, he has been involved in more than 25 forensic accounting and/or litigation support matters. Mr. Barberich has been designated as an expert witness in several litigated matters, and has previously provided grand jury testimony as an expert witness (his testimony is currently under court seal). He earned his CPA certificate from the state of Kansas and the state of Missouri. Mr. Barberich earned his Bachelor of Business Administration and his Master of Business Administration degrees from Pittsburg State University. He was a KSCPA gold key winner on the uniform CPA examination in the state of Kansas. Mr. Barberich also was a licensed CPA in Kansas. He has been designated as a "Certified Internal Auditor" from the Institute of Internal Auditors; a "Certified Fraud Examiner" from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners; a "Certified in Financial Forensics" and "Accredited in Business Valuation" from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants; and an "Accredited Member" in the business valuation specialty from the American Society of Appraisers. MICHAEL D. FIELDING is an attorney with Husch Blackwell, LLP. Mr. Fielding is a Kansas City business bankruptcy attorney who defends creditors and enforces their rights in business bankruptcy and commercial litigation matters on a national basis. He also prosecutes and defends commercial litigation matters, and he has tried several cases (including jury trials). Throughout Mr. Fielding's career, he has represented the receivers of insolvent insurance carriers on novel matters including a landmark tax refund case and prosecution of a state-law based preferential transfer claim against the United States government. He is just one of a small group of attorneys licensed in Kansas and Missouri who is Board Certified in Business Bankruptcy by the American Board of Certification. Mr. Fielding has spoken at national, regional and local conferences on topics dealing with bankruptcy, avoidance actions, landlord tenant issues, evidence, electronically stored information, arbitration, international litigation and ethics. He has published several articles nationally and internationally in various well-respected bankruptcy publications. MARK A. OLTHOFF is a shareholder in the Kansas City law firm of Polsinelli Shugart PC, where he practices in the areas of complex litigation and class actions, financial, business and commercial litigation. Mr. Olthoff is a member of the Missouri Supreme Court Disciplinary Committee (Region IV). He also has written numerous articles and spoken on various topics concerning business torts, discovery, trial and motion practice. Mr. Olthoff earned his B.B.A. degree from Iowa State University and his J.D. degree from the University of Iowa. He is a member of The Missouri Bar and the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association. DANIEL M. RUNION is an attorney in the law firm of Shaffer Lombardo & Shurin, in Kansas City, Missouri, and the principal of Forensic Financials LLC. Mr. Runion's work for Shaffer Lombardo & Shurin focuses on transactional, tax planning and corporate law, while Forensic Financials LLC provides valuation and forensic accounting services for attorneys. He has more than 20 years of diversified professional experience in accounting, finance, law, tax and business. Mr. Runion is licensed to practice law in Kansas and Missouri. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Kansas, and is a Certified Valuation Analyst.
