KRISTEN M. CARROLL is a partner with Kightlinger & Gray, LLP, where her main areas of practice are all aspects of litigation, workers' compensation, construction law, employment/labor law, insurance litigation, insurance bad faith defense, unfair insurance practices, uninsured and underinsured policy holders and motorists, automobile insurance and liability defense, extra contractual insurance defense, first and third party insurance defense, and general liability defense. Ms. Carroll is a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association, Indiana State Bar Association, Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana (DTCI), Defense Research Institute (DRI) and National Association of Insurance Women. She earned her B.S. degree, cum laude, from Samford University and her J.D. degree from Indiana University. BRIAN L. ENGLAND is a partner in the law firm of Hunt Suedhoff Kalamaros, LLP, at the firm's Indianapolis office. He practices both workers' compensation and general insurance defense litigation. Mr. England earned his B.A. degree and J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Indiana University, and was an associate editor on the Indiana Law Journal. He is a member of the Marion County and Indiana State bar associations, and the Defense Trial Counsel Institute. Mr. England has been practicing in the field of workers' compensation defense litigation and has given presentations on workers' compensation topics at several seminars, including seminars sponsored by National Business Institute and the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana. PAUL L. FIELDS is field counsel for the insurance company Liberty Mutual Group. His main area of practice is workers' compensation defense and has been since 1987. Mr. Fields has lectured to insurers and employers about workers' compensation. He earned his B.A. degree from Wabash College and his J.D. degree from Indiana University School of Law. Mr. Fields is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association. GEORGIA HARTMAN is staff counsel for Liberty Law Offices in Indiana. Ms. Hartman earned her B.A. degree from Purdue University, her M.A. degree from Northern Illinois University and her J.D. degree, cum laude, from Indiana University School of Law. She was an in-house counsel member for the Fort Wayne Community School from 1993 to 2003. Ms. Hartman was an associate attorney with Beckman Lawson, L.L.P. from 1997 to 1999. She is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court, Northern District of Indiana, the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Indiana and the U.S. Court of Appeals, 7th Circuit. MICHAEL A. SCHOENING is a partner in the Fortville law firm of Nation Schoening Moll, P.C., where his practice is devoted primarily to workers' compensation, insurance defense law and administrative law. Mr. Schoening has been practicing law since 1982 and is a frequent speaker before business and professional groups such as National Business Institute, JWF Specialty and the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce on topics related to workers' compensation. For the past 12 years, he has been teaching finance and accounting at Indiana Wesleyan University. Mr. Schoening is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Defense Trial Counsel Institute. He earned his B.A. degree from Illinois Wesleyan University and his J.D. degree from John Marshall Law School.
