December 13 - Merrillville GARY P. BONK is a sole practitioner in Schererville. He has been practicing law since 1986 and currently concentrates in the areas of estate planning, estate settlements, as well as planning for business succession and elder law representation. He is a frequent lecturer on estate planning with trust issues for various civic groups. Mr. Bonk earned his B.A. degree from Lafayette College and his J.D. degree from the University of Denver. She is a frequent lecturer on estate planning, estate administration, trusts, and guardianships. Ms. Misner-Skozen is a member of the American and Indiana State bar associations. Ms. Misner-Skozen earned her B.A. degree from Purdue University and her J.D. degree from Valparaiso University School of Law. GEROLD L. STOUT is an attorney in the Merrillville and Valparaiso offices of Hoeppner Wagner & Evans LLP, where his areas of practice include estate planning, corporate law, and taxation. Mr. Stout has lectured on various estate planning and probate issues for National Business Institute. Mr. Stout earned his B.A. degree from Purdue University and his J.D. degree from Valparaiso University, where he previously has lectured on estate planning. MORRIS A. SUNKEL received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois (BS, accounting, 1970) and his law degree from the Valparaiso University School of Law (JD, 1975). He also has an LLM in Taxation from the John Marshall School of Law and has been a certified public accountant since 1971. In April, 2007, he became a Certified Indiana Estate Planning and Administration Specialist by the Board Certified Indiana Trust and Estate Lawyers. His practice concentrates in the areas of business law, wealth planning and elder law. He joined the law firm of Harris Welsh & Lukmann in January, 2008. December 21 - Indianapolis DAVID D. DEETER is an attorney with the Indianapolis law firm of Dale & Eke, P.C., where he practices in the areas of estate planning and probate. He has lectured to various professionals on estate planning topics. Mr. Deeter earned his B.A. degree from the University of Notre Dame, while attending the University of Innsbruck, Innsbruck, Austria, during his sophomore year. He earned his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis. Mr. Deeter is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association (Probate and Real Property Section), and the Indianapolis and American bar associations. He is a board member of the Estate Planning Council of Indianapolis, the Notre Dame Club of Indianapolis, and an estate planning and administration specialist certified by the Planning and Administration Specialty Certification Board of the Indiana State Bar Association. JAY J. HAGGERTY is a partner with the Indianapolis law firm of Haggerty, Haggerty and Maschmeyer, where he practices in the areas of probate, wills, estates, guardianships, family law, and personal injury plaintiff. Mr. Haggerty is a member of the Indianapolis, Morgan County, Indiana State, and American bar associations. He is a frequent lecturer on estate planning and probate for National Business Institute. Mr. Hall earned his B.S. degree from Ball State University and his J.D. degree from Indiana University Law School at Indianapolis. He serves on the Ball State Foundation Philanthropy Advisory Committee, where he assists in estate planning through charitable giving. Mr. Hall is a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association (member, Estate and Land Use sections). ROBERT C. THOMPSON JR. is a partner in the law firm of Meils, Thompson, Dietz & Berish, where he practices in the areas of estate, guardianship, and adoption law. He frequently speaks on issues such as contested guardianships, power of attorney, living wills, and guardianships for nursing homes, hospitals, the Indianapolis Bar Association, and ICLEF. Mr. Thompson earned his B.S. and J.D. degrees from Indiana University. He is a member of the Indiana State and the Indianapolis bar associations.
