DAVID J. CUTSHAW is a partner in the Indianapolis law firm of Cohen & Malad, LLP, where his practice is concentrated in medical malpractice, complex litigation, class action litigation, securities litigation, aircraft litigation and personal injury. Mr. Cutshaw has been involved as plaintiff's counsel in complex litigation such as the A-7 Ramada Inn crash and served as plaintiff's liaison counsel in In re: Greenwood Air Crash, a mid-air collision. For the past three years, he has been named in the Indiana Super Lawyers for class action litigation. Mr. Cutshaw is a member of the Indianapolis and Indiana State bar associations, and the 7th Circuit Bar Association, and the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Indianapolis and his J.D. degree from Indiana University School of Law at Indianapolis. W. BRENT GILL is owner of the Law Office of W. Brent Gill in Bedford, and has tried more than 100 trials. He has extensive practice experience in the areas of medical malpractice, products liability and personal injury law. Mr. Gill is the chief justice of the Supreme Court of the Southern Cherokee Nation and also is the past chairman of Indiana's Native American Indian Affairs Commission. He has taught and lectured to legal and professional organizations on various areas of trial advocacy and practice, communication, damages and areas of substantive law, and also lectures on Cherokee history, culture and tradition. Mr. Gill earned his B.S. degree from Indiana University and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Indiana University School of Law. He is a graduate of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy and is board-certified as a civil trial advocate of the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Mr. Gill was trained and billeted as an orthopedic technician during his military service and worked in that capacity at hospitals while completing his undergraduate degree. His professional association memberships include the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association (president, 2003-2004; Board of Directors, 1988-present); the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (state delegate, 1996-1999); fellow of Roscoe Pound Foundation; fellow of Indiana College of Trial Lawyers; National Native American Bar Association; and the American, Indiana State, Indianapolis, 7th Circuit and Lawrence County bar associations. SCOTT M. KYROUAC is an attorney at the law firm of Wilkinson Goeller Modesitt Wilkinson & Drummy LLP, practicing in personal injury, insurance defense, medical malpractice defense, products liability, environmental law, asbestos defense, toxic torts, trucking defense and transportation law. Mr. Kyrouac is president-elect of the defense counsel of Indiana. He earned his B.S. degree, with high honors, from the University of Illinois and his J.D. degree from Indiana University. Mr. Kyrouac is a member of Terre Haute, the Indiana State and American bar associations, and the Indiana Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana, the Indiana Defense Lawyers Association, the Defense Research Institute, and the American Board of Trial Advocates He was elected Indiana's 2008 Defense Lawyer of the Year.
