DAVID P. BENEDETTO is of counsel with the law firm Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP in Indianapolis, where his practice is focused solely in the area of trusts and estates, including estate administration and related litigation. He has lectured to various professionals on estate planning topics. Mr. Deeter earned his B.A. degree from the University of Notre Dame, while attending the University of Innsbruck, Innsbruck, Austria, during his sophomore year. He earned his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis. Mr. Deeter is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association (Probate and Real Property Section), and the Indianapolis and American bar associations. He is a board member of the Estate Planning Council of Indianapolis and the Notre Dame Club of Indianapolis, and is an estate planning and administration specialist certified by the Planning and Administration Specialty Certification Board of the Indiana State Bar Association. SUZANNE E. KATT is an attorney with the firm Cremer & Cremer in Indianapolis. She practices primarily in the areas of trust and estate litigation, estate planning, and estate administration. She is a registered civil mediator. Ms. Katt is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association. She is a past chair of the Probate Trust and Real Property section and also serves as the section's publications chair. She has been a presenter at numerous continuing legal education seminars. The topics included non-probate transfers, new probate legislation, probate jurisdiction, ethical issues in determining client capacity and master litigation issues in probate proceedings. SEAN E. OBERMEYER is an attorney with Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, with their private client practice group, where he concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning, probate, guardianships and trust administration. He also assists clients with estate and gift tax matters, formation and operation of family business entities and private foundations, and planning for children with special needs. Mr. Obermeyer earned his bachelor's degree, cum laude, from Hanover College and his law degree, summa cum laude, from Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis. In law school, he served as executive articles editor of the Indiana Law Review. Prior to law school, Mr. Obermeyer was an assistant vice president and branch manager for PNC Bank. ANNE H. POINDEXTER is a partner with Campbell Kyle Proffitt LLP, where her practice concentrates in the areas of civil litigation including will and trust contests, probate and trust administration, estate and wealth transfer planning, as well as public utility law. Ms. Poindexter chairs the firm's estate and public utility practice groups. She earned her undergraduate degree from Ball State University and her law degree, cum laude, from Indiana University. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Poindexter worked for the Inheritance Tax Division of the Indiana Department of Revenue, where she was the administrator. She is a member of the American, Indiana State and Hamilton County bar associations. DANIEL S. TOMSON is an associate attorney with Feiwell and Hannoy, P.C., and has experience in a variety of areas of law with a focus on personal and commercial litigation. He practices in appellate law, church law, residential and commercial mortgage foreclosures, banking and business litigation, adoption, estate planning and probate law, and bankruptcy law (creditor rights.) Mr. Tomson earned his B.A. degree from Central College, his M.A. degree from the University of Northern Iowa and his J.D. degree from Valparaiso University School of Law (Scribe's Award for the Best Law Review Note, 2001-2002.) He is a member of the Indiana State and Indianapolis bar associations. Mr. Tomson is admitted to practice before the Indiana Supreme Court, U.S. Northern and Southern districts of Indiana and before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
