TIMOTHY F. DEVEREUX is an attorney with Conour Law Firm, LLC, where his main areas of practice are personal injury, construction accidents, wrongful death, products liability, catastrophic injury and brain injury. Mr. Devereux has written many articles in his main areas of practice. He is a member of the Indiana State and Indianapolis bar associations, the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Association of Justice (Toxic, Environmental and Pharmaceutical Litigation sections). Mr. Devereux earned his B.A. degree from Millikin University and his J.D. degree from the University of Denver College of Law. ANDREW R. FALK is an attorney with the Indiana Office of Attorney General and practices in the Criminal Appeals Division. Mr. Falk earned his B.A. degree, with highest distinction and university honors, from Indiana University and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Indiana University School of Law. During law school, Mr. Falk was executive notes editor of the Indiana Law Review. Mr. Falk previously worked in the Indianapolis law firm of Kroger, Gardis & Regas, LLP, where he practiced in the areas of litigation and appeals. He served as law clerk to the Honorable Brent E. Dickson, Supreme Court of Indiana and as judicial clerk to the Honorable Kenneth L. Ryskamp, U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida. Mr. Falk is a member of the American and Indiana State bar associations. SARA A. HOOK is professor of informatics at the Indiana University School of Informatics, IUPUI, where she has developed a suite of courses in the emerging field of legal informatics. Ms. Hook also is an adjunct professor of law at the Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis, where she teaches courses in intellectual property law and professional responsibility. Formerly, she was associate dean of the faculties for IUPUI and head librarian at the IU School of Dentistry. Ms. Hook earned her B.A. and M.L.S. degrees from the University of Michigan; her M.B.A. degree from the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University; and her J.D. degree from the Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis. She was admitted to the Indiana State Bar Association in 1994. During law school, Ms. Hook was executive notes editor of the Indiana International & Comparative Law Review, co-chair of the Dean's Tutorial Society, and finished second in the Client Counseling Competition. Ms. Hook's research interests include intellectual property law, the emerging field of legal informatics, and ways to enhance creativity in teaching and learning. She is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA), the Indiana State Bar Association, the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA), and the American Association for State and Local History (AASLH). Ms. Hook regularly publishes and gives presentations on intellectual property law, electronic discovery, legal technology, legal research techniques, and issues related to privacy and security. SCOTT M. KYROUAC is an attorney at the law firm of Wilkinson Goeller Modesitt Wilkinson & Drummy LLP, practicing in personal injury, insurance defense, medical malpractice defense, products liability, environmental law, asbestos defense, toxic torts, trucking defense and transportation law. Mr. Kyrouac is president of the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana and is secretary of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Terre Haute Bar Association, the Indiana Defense Lawyers Association and the Defense Research Institute. Mr. Kyrouac was elected Indiana's 2008 Defense Lawyer of the Year. He earned his B.S. degree, with high honors, from the University of Illinois and his J.D. degree from Indiana University. Mr. Kyrouac is a certified mediator. GARY L. MILLER is a partner in the Indianapolis law firm of MillerMeyer, LLP, where his practice concentrates on mediation, litigation and legal ethics. Mr. Miller served as a judge in the Marion Superior Court, Civil Division, from January 2001 until his retirement in December 2008.
