KEITH A. KINNEY is a member of Hill, Fulwider, McDowell, Funk & Matthews, P.C., where he practices in the areas of civil litigation and professional liability. He has previously spoken on topics of defense of an insurance agent in an errors and omissions claim and on legal and ethical responsibilities of insurance agents and brokers. Mr. Kinney earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from DePauw University and his J.D. degree from the Indiana University. He is a member of the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana, Defense Research Institute, Indiana State Bar Association, Indianapolis Bar Association, International Association of Defense Counsel and the Professional Liability Underwriting Society. RANDALL A. LAKEY is an attorney with Cohen & Malad, LLP, where he represents individuals and families who have been seriously injured or lost a loved one due to other's negligence. His trial experience is varied and diverse, serving as counsel in jury trials involving auto accidents, ATVs, semis, motorcycles, slip and falls, death penalty murder and possession of drugs. Mr. Lakey represents accident victims in Indiana and other states, as well as Federal Court. He earned his B.A. degree in criminal justice from Purdue University and his J.D. degree from Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, Nebraska. Mr. Lakey has previously lectured for, Strategies for Successfully Trying the Automobile Case in Indiana, a National Business Institute seminar. He is a member of the Indiana State Bar, Indianapolis Bar, Indiana Trial Lawyers Association and American Association for Justice. PATRICK OLMSTEAD JR. is an attorney with Hoover Hull LLP, where he represents businesses in commercial litigation and attorneys in their professional liability defense. Mr. Olmstead earned his B.A. degree in government from the University of Notre Dame and his J.D. degree, summa cum laude, from the Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis, where he was salutatorian. He served on the Indiana Law Review and received the James Lawrence Fellowship from the Indianapolis Bar Foundation. Mr. Olmstead interned for the Honorable John Tinder, United States District Court, Southern District of Indiana; Region 25 of the National Labor Relations Board; and the Marion County Prosecutor's Office. Mr. Olmstead is a frequent presenter and author regarding professional liability and community service. Some of the topics include, drafting ethical fee agreements, ethical timekeeping, legal and ethical issues of Indiana accountants, practical tips to avoid malpractice complaints and grievances, and representing non-profit corporations. He is a member of the Legal Ethics Committee of the Indiana State Bar Association. He is also one of 15 ethics hotline members who provide guidance to Indiana attorneys regarding ethical dilemmas. Mr. Olmstead is a member of the Expert Witness Committee and the Center for Professional Responsibility of the American Bar Association.
