BRET G. BREWER, CPA/ABV, ASA, CBA, CVA, is the founder and managing director of 59-60, Inc. A winner of the Indiana CPA Society's Five Under 35 Award, Mr. Brewer is one of seven people in the nation with all of the following credentials: Certified Business Valuation Analyst (CBA), Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), Accredited Senior Appraiser Valuation (ASA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV). He has appraised more than 200 companies in a multitude of industries for litigation support, mergers and acquisitions, buy/sell agreements, gifting, and estate tax purposes. Mr. Brewer has taught various aspects of business valuations for the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum (ICLEF), Family Law Institute, National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA), Indiana State Chapter, National Business Institute (NBI), Indianapolis Bar Association (IBA), American Society of Appraisers (ASA) Indiana Chapter, Indiana CPA Society (INCPAS), and various other venues. He also has been published in the nationally recognized publications of Shannon Pratt's Business Valuation Update, The Value Examiner and The Matrimonial Strategist. Mr. Brewer is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Indiana Certified Public Accountants Society, National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, The Institute of Business Appraisers, and The American Society of Appraisers (Indiana Chapter President 2006-2007). He earned his B.S. degrees from Miami University of Oxford, Ohio, followed by additional accounting undergraduate courses at Indiana University-Purdue University of Indianapolis, Indiana. BRET S. CLEMENT is a member of the Indianapolis law firm of Ayres, Carr & Sullivan PC, where his practice focuses on estate and business planning, tax, and corporate law. Mr. Clement frequently lectures to various professional groups on estate planning and tax-related subjects. As an adjunct professor of law, he previously taught the estate and gift tax course at Indiana University Law School. He wrote the sales and use tax, gross income tax, inheritance tax and property tax explanations for the Indiana Section of Research Institute of America's State and Local Tax Service. Mr. Clement earned his B.B.A. degree, with high honors, from the University of Notre Dame and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Michigan. WILLIAM J. DALE JR. is a certified Indiana estate planning and administration specialist by the estate Planning and Administration Specialty Certification Board, Indiana State Bar Association. He is an attorney, a principal member of the Indianapolis law firm of Dale & Eke, P.C., and a certified public accountant (inactive). Mr. Dale earned his law degree from Indiana University, Indianapolis Law School. He has lectured in numerous educational programs on taxation, including programs sponsored by Purdue University, the Indiana State Bar Association, the Indiana CPA Society and the then American College of Charter Life Underwriters. He is the Indiana practice consultant for Matthew Bender's Midwest Transaction Guide, a member of the board of reviewers, a contributing author to Matthew Bender's Indiana Estate Planning and Probate Practice, and has contributed articles to various other tax and professional publications. Mr. Dale is a member of the American, Indiana State and Indianapolis (chairman, Income Tax Section 1991) bar associations; the Indiana CPA Society; and the Estate Planning Council of Indianapolis (president 2008).In 1985, he was elected a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. In 1997, he was elected to the American College of Tax Counsel. Mr. Dale is a distinguished fellow of the Indianapolis Bar Foundation and a fellow of the Indiana Bar Foundation. He is an adjunct professor of law at the Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis, where he teaches a seminar in Business and Estate Planning. He is listed in Indiana Super Lawyers. REBECCA W. GEYER is a partner at Drewry Simmons Vornehm, LLP, where her practice concentrates in estate planning, estate and trust administration, elder law, tax planning, and business services. A board certified Indiana trust and estate specialist, certified by the Indiana Trust and Estate Specialty Certification Board since 2007, Ms. Geyer received her Juris Doctor degree from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Indiana University. She is a frequent lecturer on estate planning, taxation, and elder law-related issues. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Indianapolis Bar Association, chairs the website committee for the Elder Law Section of the Indiana State Bar Association and is a board member of the Indiana Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Ms. Geyer also is active with the Estate Planning Council of Indiana. Recognized as a rising star in estate planning by Super Lawyers in both 2010 and 2011, Ms. Geyer is a frequent lecturer and author on estate planning and elder law topics.
