ANDREW R. FALK is an attorney with the Indiana Office of Attorney General, and practices in the Criminal Appeals Division. Mr. Falk earned his B.A. degree, with highest distinction and university honors, from Indiana University and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Indiana University School of Law. During law school, Mr. Falk was executive notes editor of the Indiana Law Review. Mr. Falk previously worked in the Indianapolis law firm of Kroger, Gardis & Regas, LLP, where he practiced in the areas of litigation and appeals. He served as law clerk to the Honorable Brent E. Dickson, Supreme Court of Indiana, and as judicial clerk to the Honorable Kenneth L. Ryskamp, U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida. Mr. Falk is a member of the American and Indiana State bar associations. SARA A. HOOK is professor of informatics, Indiana University School of Informatics, IUPUI, where she has developed a suite of courses in the emerging field of legal informatics. Ms. Hook is also an adjunct professor of law at the Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis, where she teaches courses in intellectual property law and professional responsibility. Formerly, she was associate dean of the faculties for IUPUI and head librarian at the IU School of Dentistry. Ms. Hook earned her B.A. and M.L.S. degrees from the University of Michigan, her M.B.A. degree from the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University, and her J.D. degree from the Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis. She was admitted to the Indiana State Bar Association in 1994. During law school, Ms. Hook was executive notes editor of the Indiana International & Comparative Law Review, co-chair of the Dean's Tutorial Society, and finished second in the Client Counseling Competition. Ms. Hook's research interests include intellectual property law, the emerging field of legal informatics and ways to enhance creativity in teaching and learning. She is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA), the Indiana State Bar Association, the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) and the American Association for State and Local History (AASLH). Ms. Hook regularly publishes and gives presentations on intellectual property law, electronic discovery, legal technology, legal research techniques and issues related to privacy and security. STEVEN R. MILLER, J.D., M.A., M.Sc., is a research librarian and legal research professor at the Indiana University School of Law ?Indianapolis. Mr. Miller teaches an online legal research course to second-year J.D. students, a legal research course to international LL.M. students, and the research component in the first-year LARC (Legal Analysis and Research Communications) Program. He was the former librarian for educational services and a lecturer at the Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago. At Northwestern, Mr. Miller taught Advanced Legal Research. He was also the former collection development and research services librarian and an assistant professor at the Ohio Northern University College of Law, where he taught Law and Computers. Mr. Miller is a member of the Foreign, Comparative & International Law Special Interest Section of the American Association of Law Libraries, and a member of the Section on International Law of the American Bar Association. CHERYL L. NIEMEIER has been a professional librarian for 20 years. She is currently director of Library Services for Bose McKinney & Evans LLP, in Indianapolis where she has been for the past 6 years. Prior to joining Bose McKinney & Evans LLP, she was the manager of Library Services for another law firm in Indianapolis for 8 years. Previous to that she was a reference librarian for the Indianapolis Marion County Public Library. Ms. Niemeier earned her Master of Science in Library Science from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana and her Bachelor of Science in Education from Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana. She has been a presenter at several professional association conferences, and has written/co-written the following articles and seminar publications. "The Challenges and Rewards of a Law Firm Library Move: The Reorganization and Decentralization of the Bose McKinney & Evans LLP Law Library," AALL Spectrum, May 2009 issue; "The Blurred Meaning of Document: Keeping Current in an E-Discovery World," Legal Information Alert, September 2006, volume 25, no. 8.; Computer Assisted Legal Research Made Easy in Indiana; National Business Institute, 2002; and Strategic Use of Internet Search Engines in Indiana, National Business Institute, 2000. Ms. Niemeier is a member and past president of the Indianapolis Law Librarian's Association, and served on the Membership Committee of AALL. She is also a member of the AALL Economic Status of Law Librarians Committee (vice-chair, 2009-2010 and chair, 2010-2011). She is member of the AALL PLL-SIS Nominations Committee (2007- current), ILF Legislative Committee (2006-2009), and is a ORALL At-Large-Board member (2007-present).
