MELISSA A. BREEDEN is the senior staff attorney for the real estate investment trust company Simon Property Group. Ms. Breeden's main area of practice is transactional commercial real estate, focusing on property disposition and finance. She was previously with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources and has experience in real estate and environmental litigation. Ms. Breeden earned her B.A. degree from Ball State University and her J.D. degree from Valparaiso University. She has lectured for the International Council of Shopping Centers. MICHAEL L. CARMIN is the managing attorney at Andrews, Harrell, Mann, Carmin & Parker, PC, where he practices in the areas of business and real estate law, zoning, land use and development. Mr. Carmin has lectured at continuing education programs on the use of expert witnesses and Indiana real estate law. He is active in local governmental affairs on behalf of various interest groups and the Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce on land use and zoning policies of Monroe County and the City of Bloomington.
