JOHN HOOVER is a founding partner with Hoover Hull LLP. He practices in the areas of commercial litigation, professional liability (including medical and legal malpractice defense), professional peer review, officer and director defense, campaign and election law, art litigation, and counseling buyers and sellers on the purchase and sale of fine art items. Mr. Hoover is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Indiana, and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. He earned his B.A. degree from Vanderbilt University; and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis. Mr. Hoover is a member of the Indianapolis, Indiana State, Seventh Circuit and American bar associations. He currently is the chair of the Ethics Committee of the Indiana State Bar Association. Mr. Hoover is a past co-chair of the Professionals, Officers and Directors Liability Subcommittee of the Tort and Insurance Practice Committee of the American Bar Association. SARAH C. JENKINS is an attorney with Baker & Daniels LLP in Indianapolis and a member of the firm's business litigation group. She focuses her practice on general business litigation and probate litigation, including will contests, contesting inter vivos transfers, guardianships and commitment proceedings. Before joining Baker & Daniels, Ms. Jenkins clerked for the Honorable Paul D. Mathias of the Indiana Court of Appeals. She also worked at the Indiana Attorney General's Office drafting appellate briefs. Ms. Jenkins earned her B. A. degree from Indiana University - Bloomington; and her J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Indiana University Maurer School of Law - Indianapolis. She is a member of the American Bar Association and the Indiana State Bar Association (member, Probate Review Committee; Legal Ethics Committee; Improvements in the Judicial System; Probate, Trust and Real Property Section; Litigation Section; Appellate Practice Section). CAROL NEMETH JOVEN is an attorney at the Indianapolis-based plaintiffs' litigation firm of Price Waicukauski & Riley, LLC. Her practice focuses on plaintiffs' complex litigation, including matters involving business disputes, property rights, professional malpractice, and personal injury. She received her B.A. degree, with high distinction, from Indiana University; and her J.D. degree, cum laude, from Indiana University School of Law - Bloomington. She formerly served as a deputy attorney general where she represented the state, its agencies, and employees in trial and appellate litigation. In addition, she practiced in the area of civil litigation as an associate with the law firm of White & Raub from 1998 to 2003. Ms. Nemeth Joven is a member of the Indianapolis Law Club, the Indianapolis Bar Association (Executive Committee, Women and the Law Division; Executive Committee, Appellate Practice Section), the Indiana State Bar Association, the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association and the International Society of Primerus Law Firms. JUDY L. WOODS is a partner with the firm of Benesch Friedlander Coplan & Aronoff, LLP in the firm's litigation practice group. She focuses her practice on complex commercial and "bet the company" litigation, including antitrust, class actions, shareholder and corporate governance disputes. Ms. Woods has represented several financial institutions and life/health insurance companies in complex litigation involving acquisitions and sales of financial or insurance companies or insurance company holding companies; ERISA matters; alleged securities or other violations related to the sale of annuities, debentures or other securities; and liquidation of financial institutions/insurance companies, holding companies, broker/dealers and accounting firms in connection with these types of matters. Ms. Woods earned her B.A. degree from Macalester College; her M.A. degree from Bryn Mawr College; and her J.D. degree, cum laude, from Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis. She is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association and the International Center for Dispute Resolution. Ms. Woods is an arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association on the Panel of Neutrals for large, complex and commercial cases. PATRICK A. ZIEPOLT is an attorney with the firm of Bingham McHale LLP where he concentrates his practice on business litigation. He earned his undergraduate degree from Amherst College; and his law degree, magna cum laude, from Indiana University Maurer School of Law - Bloomington. While in law school, Mr. Ziepolt served on the Indiana Law Journal and the Sherman Minton Moot Court Board. In 2008, Mr. Ziepolt interned for the Honorable David F. Hamilton at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. He is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association and the Indianapolis Bar Association.
