MICHAEL J. LEWINSKI is a partner with the Indianapolis law firm of Ice Miller LLP. His areas of practice include breach of contract, litigation, real estate and commercial law. Mr. Lewinski has spoken at various real estate litigation seminars and presents in-house seminars for clients. He is a member of the Indianapolis and the Indiana State bar associations. Mr. Lewinski earned his A.B. degree, summa cum laude, from Wabash College and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Indiana University. WILL L. STUMP is president of Will L. Stump & Associates. The firm has provided professional, real estate valuation services nationwide for more than 35 years. The firm serves a wide variety of corporate, financial, institutional and public clients by providing real estate appraisals, highest and best use studies, feasibility studies, loan portfolio evaluations and numerous other real property valuation services to the public and private sectors. Mr. Stump has been practicing for more than 40 years and is an MAI and SRA member of the Appraisal Institute, is a member of the Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of Realtors, and is a licensed general certified appraiser in Indiana. He earned his B.S. degree from Purdue University and attended graduate school at Purdue. Mr. Stump has appraisal experience in a wide variety of property types with divergent valuation issues, including partial interests, contaminated properties and acquisitions from eminent domain. He has more than 30 years of courtroom experience as an expert witness, testifying for both plaintiffs and defendants. Mr. Stump has been qualified as an expert witness in Indiana, specializing in real estate litigation. He has extensive teaching experience, having served as education chairman for the Indiana Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. Mr. Stump has lectured at Purdue University and has served on the teaching faculty for CLE seminars and the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum. YASMIN L. STUMP has been a lawyer for more than 20 years and practices in the areas of governmental litigation, and real estate litigation and transactions, including eminent domain, inverse condemnation, new home construction, leases, nuisance, trespass, boundary disputes and land acquisition. Ms. Stump has represented plaintiffs and defendants in her private practice and is currently outside counsel in eminent domain or land acquisition matters for several governmental entities, including the Indiana Department of Transportation, the city of East Chicago and the Randolph County Board of Aviation Commissioners. Prior to entering private practice, she was Section Chief of both the Tort and Real Estate Litigation sections for the Office of the Attorney General, where her responsibilities included representing the state of Indiana and supervising other lawyers in eminent domain and other real estate-related cases. Ms. Stump has lectured at seminars on real estate topics and has written articles about eminent domain and expert witnesses, published in the Indiana Lawyer and Verdict. She is a member of several professional and civic organizations and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association and is President of the Zionsville Chamber of Commerce. Also, Ms. Stump is certified as a civil mediator in Indiana and as a Women-Owned Business Enterprise by the state of Indiana and the city of Indianapolis.
