BRYAN LEE CIYOU is an attorney at the Indianapolis law firm of Ciyou & Dixon P.C. His practice is concentrated in family law and related areas, including appellate practice. Mr. Ciyou writes and lectures extensively on a broad spectrum of topics in the domestic relations field. He earned his B.A. degree, with distinction and honors, and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Indiana University. J. CLARE DEITCHMAN is an attorney with Kids' Voice of Indiana. Prior to joining the staff of Kids' Voice, she served as one of its volunteer guardians ad litem. Ms. Deitchman practiced as general counsel to a home health care agency and spent two years with an insurance defense litigation firm before opening her own practice focusing on family, business and employment law. She is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association (Family Law and Business Law sections) and the Indianapolis Bar Association (section membership). Ms. Deitchman earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Indiana University, Bloomington; her Master of Business Administration degree from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana; and her J.D. degree from Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis. KEVIN A. HOOVER is of counsel to the Indianapolis law firm of Hill Fulwider McDowell Funk & Mathews Law Offices PC. Mr. Hoover is a registered family law mediator in the state of Indiana. He has concentrated his practice in the areas of family law and family law mediation since 1984. He is experienced in the counseling, negotiation and litigation of domestic relations matters, and has significant experience in the resolution of intrastate and international custody matters. Mr. Hoover is a frequent lecturer on topics related to family law. He earned his B.S. degree, summa cum laude, from Ball State University and his J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Indiana University. Mr. Hoover is a member of the Family Law Rules Committee of the Johnson County Bar Association, and the Family Law and Litigation sections of the Indianapolis Bar Association. JESSICA S. LACY is the owner of the Indianapolis law firm, the Law Office of Jessica S. Lacy. Her practice focuses on the areas of family law (including mediation and appeals), probate law and civil litigation. Ms. Lacy earned her undergraduate degree from Hanover College and her J.D. degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law. During law school, she clerked for the South Carolina Department of Revenue and for the South Carolina Department of Education. Ms. Lacy began her legal career in Indianapolis at Rubin & Levin, where she assisted with complex commercial litigation. From there, Ms. Lacy became the general counsel for Continental Enterprises, where she practiced intellectual property law, corporate law and labor and employment law. In 2003, Ms. Lacy joined the firm Freedman & Associates, where she began developing her family law and probate practice. Ms. Lacy completed the Family Law Mediation Certification course and she completed the Parenting as a Guardian Ad Litem for Kid's Voice and for Child Advocates. In addition to her regular practice, she offers mediation, parenting coordination and private guardian ad litem services. Ms. Lacy is a member of the Indianapolis and Indiana State bar associations, where she serves on the Women in Law and the Civil Rights of Children Committees.
