TREVOR J. BELDEN is a partner at the law firm of Baker & Daniels LLP, where he concentrates his practice in counseling clients through a variety of corporate and commercial transactions. Mr. Belden has experience representing corporate clients, venture capital firms, public/private entities, commercial lenders and universities. His corporate clients represent industries ranging from life sciences to homeland security to information technology. Mr. Belden earned his B.A. degree with highest distinction from Purdue University and his J.D. degree from the University of Michigan Law School. He is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association and American Bar Association. Mr. Belden has also participated in many speaking engagements across the United States, including "Spotting Legal Issues in the Start-up Process," "Venture Capital Terms," "Legal Issues for New Ventures," "Do I Have a Company?" and "Corporate Governance for Start-Up Companies." MICHAEL RAY SMITH is an attorney at Smith Rayl Law Office, LLC. Mr. Smith worked as in-house counsel at Eli Lilly and Company for more than 14 years, practicing in the environmental group, the securities group, and the commercial transactions group. He brings this extensive business law experience to his private practice, where he concentrates on providing personal service and practical advice to businesses and nonprofit organizations. Mr. Smith currently serves as an adjunct professor at the Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis. He earned his B.E. degree from Vanderbilt University, his M.S. degree from Purdue University and his J.D. degree from Indiana University School of Law- Indianapolis. Mr. Smith is a member of the American Bar Association, Indiana State Bar Association, Indianapolis Bar Association, Hamilton County Bar Association and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. ROBERT K. STANLEY is a partner at the law firm of Baker & Daniels LLP, and has represented clients in complex civil litigation and private arbitrations of a variety of business and commercial disputes for more than 28 years. Mr. Stanley's principal focus in recent years has been prosecuting and defending claims in the areas of antitrust claims, probate-related litigation, bankruptcy litigation, distributor/dealer termination cases and contract disputes. He earned his A.B. degree, summa cum laude, from Ball State University and his J.D. degree, summa cum laude, from Indiana University Maurer School of Law - Bloomington. Mr. Stanley is a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association, Indiana State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
