JUDY FORD ANSPACH joined the Indiana University School of Law faculty as director of the Ruth Lilly Law Library in the summer of 2003. The author of numerous presentations and publication in the area of internet and technology resources for lawyers and legal scholars, she graduated first in her class from Mississippi College School of Law, where she also was managing editor of the Law Review Board. Prior to coming to IU, Ms. Anspach was library director and professor of law and later Associate Dean for Information Resources and Professor of Law at Hofstra University School of Law. She also was director of the law library at the University of New Mexico and Thomas M. Cooley Law School, as well as deputy director at the University of Connecticut Law Library. While attending law school, she was the Public Services Director at Mississippi College School of Law where, she also taught a library management class in the paralegal program. Ms. Anspach's teaching areas include animal law, advanced legal research, advocacy and legal reasoning. She earned her B.S. and M.L.S. degrees from Kent State University, and her J.D. degree from Mississippi College. ALICE A. DAVIDSON is the former librarian for the Office of the Indiana Attorney General. She recently accepted a position with the Library Development Office of Indiana State Library as the coordinator for Evergreen Indiana (a growing consortium of 90 public, school and institutional libraries located throughout Indiana that use the Evergreen integrated library system) and INSPIRE ( a collection of academic databases and other information resources that can be accessed by Indiana residents). As librarian for the Indiana Attorney General's office, she was responsible for all aspects of the law library including: collection development, acquisitions, technical services, cataloging, reference, webpage development, legal research database administrator, and supervision of library assistants. She is a member of the numerous law librarian organizations. Ms. Davidson earned her MLS degree, with honors, from Indiana University-Indianapolis. DEB DeFOUW is a librarian with Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. Ms. DeFouw has worked in libraries for 10 years. Ms. DeFouw previouslyworked for Baker & Daniels and Ice Miller as a reference librarian. Ms. DeFouw is currently the president of the Indianapolis Law Librarians' Association. She earned her B.S. degree from Indiana State University and her M.L.S. degree from Indiana University - Indianapolis. SARA A. HOOK is professor of informatics, Indiana University School of Informatics, IUPUI, where she has developed a suite of courses in the emerging field of legal informatics. Ms. Hook also is an adjunct professor of law in the Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis, where she teaches courses in intellectual property law and professional responsibility. Formerly, she was Associate Dean of the Faculties for IUPUI and head librarian at the IU School of Dentistry. Ms. Hook earned her B.A. and M.L.S. degrees from the University of Michigan, her M.B.A. degree from the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University, and her J.D. degree from the Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis. She was admitted to the Indiana State Bar Association in 1994. During law school, Ms. Hook was executive notes editor of the Indiana International & Comparative Law Review, co-chair of the Dean's Tutorial Society, and finished second in the Client Counseling Competition. Ms. Hook's research interests include intellectual property law, the emerging field of legal informatics and ways to enhance creativity in teaching and learning. She is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA), the Indiana State Bar Association, the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) and the American Association for State and Local History (AASLH). Ms. Hook regularly publishes and gives presentations on intellectual property law, electronic discovery, legal technology, legal research techniques and issues related to privacy and security. JEFFREY KOSC is a partner with Benesch Friedlander Coplan & Aronoff, LLP. In his transactional practice Mr. Kosc has represented clients in the negotiation of many technology transfer, license and procurement agreements. His advertising and promotion law experience has included the drafting of various sweepstakes and contest official rules, advertising copy review and agency agreements, as well as counseling clients regarding regulatory actions and litigation proceedings by competitors related to advertising. Mr. Kosc also has negotiated various co-marketing agreements, sponsorship agreements and endorsement agreements on behalf of advertisers and personalities. In his litigation practice, Mr. Kosc has litigated advertising, trade secret, copyright, trademark and patent matters for firm clients in both courtroom and arbitration settings. He earned his B.A. degree from Colby College and his J.D. degree from DePaul University.
