JOHN R. HUMPHREY is a partner in the law firm of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, where his practice areas include bankruptcy, business restructuring and creditor rights. Mr. Humphrey represents secured lenders, trade creditors, landlords and others in out-of-court restructurings, collection and bankruptcies and assists buyers and sellers of distressed businesses. He also consults with business and individual debtors to help resolve financial problems with negotiation, out-of-court work-outs and bankruptcy. Mr. Humphrey has represented numerous clients in significant bankruptcy litigation matters including multi-million dollar preference and fraudulent transfer cases. He is a member of the board of directors for the Indiana Association for Corporate Renewal, an association of lenders, accountants, attorneys and other professionals concerned with effective turnaround management in Indiana. Mr. Humphrey also is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, American, Indiana State and Indianapolis bar associations, and the Indiana CPA Society. He is a frequent lecturer on bankruptcy and out-of-court restructuring matters at continuing education seminars. Mr. Humphrey is a certified public accountant, and was in private practice in the areas of business consulting and taxation prior to his becoming an attorney. He earned his B.S. degree from Indiana University, his M.B.S. degree from Texas A&M University and his J.D. degree from Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis. IRWIN J. PRINCE is a recognized specialist and expert in mortgage foreclosure in Indianapolis, Indiana. He has been involved in numerous cases where claims of mortgage fraud have been leveled by both lenders and borrowers and saw firsthand many of the schemes used to trick innocent people into becoming borrowers. Mr. Prince has held an Indiana Real Estate Broker's license since 1989 specializing in the area of distressed properties and acts as a loss mitigation consultant to individuals and mortgage loan services. He earned his undergraduate and law degree from Indiana University. JERLYN S. SOUTHWICK is an attorney with the Indianapolis law firm of Feiwell & Hannoy, P.C. She has extensive experience in the areas of bankruptcy, real estate and foreclosure. Ms. Southwick is the past president of the Indiana Creditors Bar Association. Prior to entering private practice, she was a deputy attorney general for the State of Indiana where she worked in consumer rights, real estate litigation and collection law. Ms. Southwick has lectured for business professional groups and the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum on foreclosure and bankruptcy. She is a member of the Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights Section of the Indianapolis and Indiana State bar associations. Ms. Southwick earned her B.A. and B.S. degrees from Indiana University, Bloomington and her J.D. degree from Indiana University, Indianapolis.
