EMILY COUR is an attorney at Sorling, Northrup, Hanna, Cullen & Cochran, Ltd. Ms. Cour concentrates her practice in the areas of health law, estate planning, trust and estate administration, transactions, and real estate. She earned her B.A. degree, cum laude, from Illinois Wesleyan University and her J.D. degree from Saint Louis University School of Law. During law school, Ms. Cour served as an editor for the Saint Louis University Law Journal and interned with Judge Lawrence G. Crahan of the Missouri Court of Appeals. She was a member of the 2005-2006 Leadership Springfield class and was selected to the 2007 Springfield Business Journal's Forty Under 40, list of central Illinois business leaders. She is a member of the American, Illinois State, Central Illinois Women's and Sangamon County bar associations. THOMAS G. HAMILL is an attorney with Harrison & Held, LLP. Mr. Hamill counsels clients on estate planning, probate and trust administration, gifting strategies, and business succession planning. His practice focuses on the implementation of estate plans to address family needs and minimize estate taxes, the administration of wills and trusts including the preparation of federal and state estate tax returns, and the succession of family-owned businesses. Mr. Hamill also authored and presented "Estate and Probate Basics," for the Illinois State Bar Association and "Estate Planning Techniques for Farmers" to the Indiana Bankers Association. He has authored materials and given presentations on estate planning to various groups including presentations on "Recent Developments in Federal Estate and Income Taxation," "Death Bed Planning," "Planned Giving" and "Protecting Family Assets." GARY E. KERR is a sole practitioner in Springfield where he concentrates in the fields of school law and labor and employment law, representing school boards, special education districts/cooperatives and private schools for the disabled in a variety of matters. He is a former adjunct faculty member for an educational law course at Sangamon State University (now the University of Illinois Springfield). Mr. Kerr conducts in-service programs/seminars for clients, state agencies and associations on issues regarding compliance with federal and state laws. He is a member of the Sangamon County Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association (member, School Law and Labor and Employment Law sections), the Illinois Council of School Attorneys, and the National School Board Association Council of School Attorneys. Mr. Kerr earned his B.A. degree from Northern Illinois University and his J.D. degree from Northwestern University School of Law. KEVIN LINDER is the owner of Linder Law Office, LLC in Springfield, Illinois. He practices in the areas of probate, family law, bankruptcy, Social Security and tax law. Mr. Linder is a certified financial planner and chartered financial consultant. He has lectured to various organizations on his areas of expertise. Mr. Linder earned his B.A. degree from the University of Illinois at Springfield and his J.D. degree from the University of Missouri at Columbia. He is a member of the Illinois State, American and Sangamon County bar associations, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives.
