JOHN J. JOHNSTON is a partner in the Belleville office of Dixon & Johnston, P.C. He has more than 30 years of experience and devotes his practice to bankruptcy and family law. Mr. Johnston received his B.S. degree from the University of Kansas and his J.D. degree from the University of Illinois. He is a member of the St. Claire and Illinois State (Section on Family Law, Board of Governors 1990 - 1992, former chair, Bar Publications Board) bar associations, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and the Bankruptcy Association of Southern Illinois (Executive Board). Mr. Johnston is also a member of the Board of Directors of the St. Claire County Children First Foundation. He is a former editor-in-chief of the Illinois State Bar Journal. He wrote the Family Law and the New Bankruptcy Code for the ISBA Bar Journal. He also is a fellow of the Illinois Bar Foundation. ROBERT GREGORY LATHRAM is the managing partner with Lathram & Herbert, LLP, where his main areas of practice include bankruptcy law, business and commercial law, debtor/creditor, collections and landlord/tenant. Mr. Lathram received his B.A. degree from the University of Washington and his J.D. degree from Vermont Law School. He lectured on "Dealing with Southern Illinois Debtors Under the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act" in 2005. Mr. Lathram is a member of the Illinois, Kentucky and American bar associations, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Bankruptcy Association of Southern Illinois. KARL J. WULFF is the principal attorney with Katz & Wulff. He received his B.A. degree from Webster University in 1993. He received his J.D. degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 1996. Prior to attending the university, Mr. Wulff served in the United States Navy on board the amphibious assault aircraft carrier U.S.S. Tripoli (LPH-10) in the air department from 1987 to 1989, and later on board the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Saratoga (CV-60) as a reservist, earning the Sea Service Ribbon and the National Defense Medal. Mr. Wulff is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA) and is a founding member of the Bankruptcy Association of Southern Illinois (BASIL). As a frequent speaker at seminars on the topic of bankruptcy law, Mr. Wulff's practice has been concentrated in consumer bankruptcy for more than ten years, during which time he has represented many thousands of individuals in bankruptcy and consumer rights actions. Mr. Wulff is admitted to practice in Illinois and Missouri, as well as the United States Judicial Districts of Southern Illinois and Eastern Missouri.
