LEE W. BARRON is a sole practitioner in Alton, Illinois. Mr. Barron has more than 20 years of experience practicing in the areas of employment, wrongful termination, non-compete litigation and business litigation. He earned his B.A. degree from The Principia College and his J.D. degree from Washington University. JAMES N. FOSTER JR. is an attorney in the law firm of McMahon Berger, where he practices in all areas of labor and employment law, with an emphasis in litigation, before the federal courts and the National Labor Relations Board. In representing and serving the firm's clientele, Mr. Foster relies upon his legal education, his tenure as a field attorney with Region 14 of the National Labor Relations Board, and more than 30 years of experience in private practice. He earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Saint Louis University and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Saint Louis University School of Law. Mr. Foster is a member of The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (member, chairman, Labor and Employment Law Section); the Federal Practice Committee, Eastern District of Missouri; The Missouri Bar; and is admitted to, amongst others, the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the Fourth, Sixth, Eighth and Ninth Circuits. J. CHRISTOPHER HESSE is a founding member and managing partner of the firm Hesse & Martone. He practices in the areas of labor and employment law, employment litigation, and international employment. His clients include small and large corporations, partnerships, municipalities, police and fire departments, and not-for-profit organizations. Mr. Hesse advises his clients on day-to-day employment matters ranging from hiring to discipline, discharge, and compensation. He participates in his clients' strategic business planning by designing mechanisms for statutory compliance in all areas of employment law, such as federal and state wage and hour laws, Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and immigration/work authorization. Mr. Hesse encourages his clients to take proactive and preventative measures as a matter of course and corrective measures when necessary. He also regularly works with clients to resolve employee administrative complaints and litigation. Mr. Hesse has successfully defended clients in cases based on discrimination, pay issues, safety practices and child labor laws in more than 40 states. He frequently participates in union election campaigns and collective bargaining negotiations. He has been particularly active in negotiating initial collective bargaining agreements between municipalities and their police and/or fire departments. Mr. Hesse is a frequent trainer on topics involving discrimination, sexual harassment, wage and hour laws, employment law compliance for human resources executives, and municipal risk management on labor and employment law and other related issues. He is a member of The Missouri Bar, the Illinois State Bar Association and the State Bar of Arizona, as well as the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. Mr. Hesse received his B.A. degree, in history and political science, with concentration in German, from Duke University and completed his graduate studies in Evolution of Democracies, East Asian Revolutions, Islam and German at Duke University. Mr. Hesse received his J.D. degree from St. Louis University School of Law, where he was Order of the Woolsack. GINA MOSHIRI represents the interests of management in all areas of labor and employment law. Prior to joining McMahon Berger, Ms. Moshiri clerked for the Hon. Stephen N. Limbaugh in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. During law school, Ms. Moshiri gained experience working at the Office of Chief Counsel for the Internal Revenue Service. Ms. Moshiri also represented Saint Louis University as a member of the National Moot Court Team. Ms. Moshiri represents clients on various labor matters, including arbitration, union avoidance, elections, collective bargaining, strikes, injunctions, and unfair labor practice charges before the National Labor Relations Board. Ms. Moshiri's employment practice includes defending claims under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act and the Family and Medical Leave Act. Ms. Moshiri also is involved in investigating and responding on behalf of management to employee claims before administrative agencies. In addition, Ms. Moshiri advises clients on employment-related matters, such as personnel policies, daily human resources issues, employment contracts, severance agreements and employee handbooks.
