PATRICK J. DOLAN is a senior audit manager for CJBS, LLC. He has 13 years of accounting and audit experience, previously working for an international CPA firm and most recently a local firm for 3 years. Mr. Dolan joined CJBS, LLC in September 2010 after relocating from Metro Detroit and currently resides in Evanston, Illinois. He specializes in accounting, auditing and assurance services for profit companies, not-for-profit entities and retirement plans, as well as manufacturing, service, retail and distribution, financing entities, construction companies, 501(c)3, 501(c)6, and 501(c)9 organizations. Mr. Dolan is a member of the American Institute of CPA's, Michigan Association of CPA's (Board Director 2006-2009 and Young Professional Task Force 2001-2006), Illinois Association of CPA's (member of the Audit and Assurance Services Committee of the IL Society of CPA's) and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He is a certified public accountant, certified in financial forensics and a certified fraud examiner. Mr. Dolan earned is B.B.A. degree from Western Michigan University. STEPHEN A. FROST is a partner with the law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, where he practices in the areas of corporate, partnership and LLC documentation, business and commercial transactions, estate planning, taxation, estate and trust administration, and wealth preservation. He is a business lawyer and certified public accountant with more than 25 years of experience representing owners and investors in the formation, operation, restructuring and dissolution of businesses, particularly with regard to tax issues. In the area of business and transition planning, Mr. Frost advises business owners on the organization and operation of their businesses. He designs and assists in implementing workable strategies to transition the ownership of businesses, and is an adjunct professor at DePaul University Graduate School of Business. To ensure that each business can continue in accordance with an owner's wishes, Mr. Frost works with clients to address control issues, tax planning strategies and buy/sell arrangements. He earned his J.D. degree from the University of Iowa College of Law and his B.S. degree from Iowa State University. Mr. Frost is a member of the DuPage County and Illinois State bar associations, and The Missouri Bar. He is a member of the Leading Lawyers Network, where he was selected by his peers as a leading lawyer in the areas of closely and privately-held business law; tax law; business and individual law; and trust, will and estate planning law. LARRY G. GOLDSMITH, J.D., C.P.A, C.F.F.A, is a member of CJBS, LLC, a 35 person financial service CPS firm with offices in Northbrook. He also is the president of the Goldsmith Law Group P.C. Mr. Goldsmith is a licensed attorney and certified public accountant. He also is a certified financial forensic analyst and a certified valuation analyst by the National Association of Certified Financial Forensic Analysts. Mr. Goldsmith earned his B.S. degree from the University of Illinois and his J.D. degree from John Marshall Law School. He is a frequent speaker on forensic accounting and other tax related issues. LORENA JOHNSON is an associate with CJBS, LLC in the firm's audit and attestation group. For more than 20 years, she has provided accounting, tax and financial management services to closely held businesses. Ms. Johnson's specializes in strategic business consulting, financial statement audits, reviews and compilations, operational reviews, and personal tax planning. She not only gives her clients creative approaches to routine issues, but she also follows up to make sure that all the necessary steps have been taken to ensure a successful result. Ms. Johnson is a licensed CPA in the state of Illinois. She earned her bachelor's degree from DeVry University and a masters from Keller Graduate School of Management. Ms. Johnson is a member of the Illinois CPA Society and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. BARRY I. MORTGE is an attorney in the Illinois Law Office of Barry I. Mortge. He represents both individuals and businesses in commercial litigation and other business-related matters, including foreclosure actions, lease disputes, mechanics' lien actions and other general contract-related cases, as well as transactions. Mr. Mortge also has represented clients in partnership and shareholder disputes. He has tried numerous cases in both the state and federal courts and has extensive appellate experience. Mr. Mortge earned his undergraduate degree from Furman University and his J.D. degree from the Walter F. George School of Law, Mercer University. He is admitted to practice in Georgia, and before the Supreme Court of Georgia and Georgia Court of Appeals; the U.S. District courts for the Northern and Central districts of Illinois and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Mortge is a member of the Federal Trial Bar of the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois as well as the Illinois State Bar Association. He also is of counsel to the firm BeckerGurian, representing its clients involved in litigation.
