MATTHEW T. CHRISTENSEN is an attorney in the law firm of Angstman Johnson, where he represents clients in all aspects of business law, real estate and bankruptcy, including all aspects of litigation and transactional work. He also is an adjunct professor at Boise State University and the University of Idaho College of Law. Mr. Christensen teaches American government and international law courses at BSU, and international trade/business and real estate courses at the University of Idaho College of Law. He is an active member of the Idaho State Bar, currently serving as a member of the Advocate Editorial Advisory Board and a board member of the Business and Corporate Law Section. Mr. Christensen also is a member of the Real Property Section of the Idaho State Bar and is involved with the American Bar Association's Center for Professional Responsibility. He earned his B.A. degree from Brigham Young University, and his J.D. and LL.M. degrees from Duke University School of Law. MICHAEL A. HALL is an attorney in the law firm of the Idaho Business Law Group, PLLC. Mr. Hall's practice emphasizes real estate law, business law, collections, and bankruptcy law, with a focus on small and medium sized businesses. He has worked for more than ten years in public accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte, where he focused in the areas of corporate and pass-through entity taxation. Mr. Hall also is a CPA. Prior to joining the Idaho Business Law Group, he worked for five years in-house with a commercial real estate developer, where he worked real estate and business law. Mr. Hall is a member of the Idaho State Bar (Real Property Section and the Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Sections). He earned his B.A. degree from Brigham Young University, and his J.D. degree from the University of Oregon School of Law. KENNETH C. HOWELL is a partner in the Business and Finance Practice Group of Hawley Troxell Ennis & Hawley LLP, in Boise. His practice emphasizes intellectual property law, trademark law, copyright law, creditors' rights law, bankruptcy law, banking law and real estate law, with a focus on business transactions associated with the technology industry, real estate financing and developments, and debtor/creditor relationships. In the technology area, he assists clients in hardware and software development and licensing agreements; cooperative research and development agreements (CRADA) with the U.S. Government (Sandia National Laboratories) under the Stevenson-Wydler Act; confidentiality, non-compete and non-disclosure agreements; and trademark/tradename disputes. In the real estate financing and development area, Mr. Howell's practice encompasses a broad range of business transactions, including real estate acquisition, financing and development, and representation of clients before local zoning, highway district and city council hearings. He earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from The College of Idaho and his J.D. degree from the University of Idaho. Mr. Howell is a member of the Idaho State Bar and the American Bar Association. BRIAN D. KNOX is sole practitioner of Brian D. Knox, Attorney at Law, PLLC, where he focuses his practice on estate planning; probate; international law; real estate issues; business formation and general, international and domestic adoption; elder law; and general courtroom litigation. Mr. Knox is a member of the American Bar Association (Environment, Energy & Resources Section and International Law Section) and was the vice chair for the Forest Resources Committee from 2007-2008. He earned his B.A. degree from Weber State University and his LL.M. and J.D. degrees from Duke University School of Law. Mr. Knox is an adjunct professor at the University of Idaho College of Law. He has taught courses in public international law, international environmental law and international trade law.
