SAM JOHNSON is a partner with the Boise law firm of Johnson & Monteleone, LLP, where he practices in the areas of personal injury, employment law, civil litigation, commercial, contractual and property disputes, and workers' compensation. He earned his B.S. and J.D. degrees from the University of Idaho. Mr. Johnson is a member of the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association, the Idaho State Bar, and the Third and Fourth District bar associations. He also is admitted to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. RICHARD C. MELLON JR. is an attorney with Brassey, Wetherell & Crawford, L.L.P., where his main areas of practice are insurance coverage and personal injury defense. He is a member of the Idaho State Bar. In 1994, he joined the State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company and served there as in-house counsel for the next 17 years. Mr. Mellon's work with State Farm involved immersion in a broad variety of issues concerning the uninsured and underinsured motor vehicle coverages. He graduated from the University of Mississippi and earned his J.D. degree from the University of Tennessee. MARK D. SEBASTIAN is a partner with Anderson, Julian & Hull LLP. He has been in private practice since 2001. Mr. Sebastian's current practice includes insurance defense, contracts and transactional work, construction law, education law, defense of governmental entities, employment law, personal injury defense, professional malpractice defense, and commercial litigation. He earned his B.A. degree from Boise State University and his J.D. degree from the University of Idaho, and subsequently clerked for two years at the Twin Falls District Court and Snake River Basin Adjudication Court for the Honorable Roger Burdick. JEFFREY A. THOMSON is a member of the Boise law firm of Elam & Burke, where he practices in the areas of insurance bad faith litigation, business law and appellate law. He was law clerk to the Hon. J. Blaine Anderson for the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit. Mr. Thomson has lectured to various professionals on bad faith issues and has published articles in the Advocate and The State Bar Journal on litigation topics. He earned his B.S. and J.D. degrees from the University of Idaho. Mr. Thomson is a member of the Idaho State Bar and the Idaho Association of Defense Counsel.
