MICHAEL W. BROWN is an attorney with the law firm of Thatcher Beard St. Clair Gaffney PA, where he leads the estate planning practice group. He acts as counsel in planning and post-mortem projects for estates up to $13 million, as well as for tax-exempt private foundations during the dissolution process. Mr. Brown also advises clients in using FLPs, LLCs, and gifting in estate planning; on estate and gift tax strategies; and in dispute resolution in estate administration. He regularly lectures to professional groups on estate planning topics. Mr. Brown is admitted to the Supreme Court of Colorado; the Supreme Court of Idaho; and to the U.S. District Court, District of Idaho. He is a member of the Eastern Idaho Estate Planning Council, WealthCounsel, and the J. Reuben Clark Law Society. Mr. Brown earned his B.A. degree from Brigham Young University and his J.D. degree from the University of Utah, where he authored, "Coalbed Methane in Utah: Designing a Successful Approach," Journal of Land, Resources & Environmental Law, and was awarded the College of Law Outstanding Achievement Award in Trial Advocacy. NATASHA N. HAZLETT is an attorney in the law firm of Angstman Johnson, where her practice focuses on estate planning and probate. She has extensive experience in administering and settling complex and contested decedent's estates, handling will contests, establishing guardianships and conservatorships, and drafting estate planning documents. She earned her B.A. degree from Southern Methodist University and her J.D. degree from Southern Methodist University, Dedman School of Law. Ms. Hazlett is a member of the Idaho State Bar (Taxation, Probate and Trust Law Section), the Tennessee Bar Association (Tax Law and Estate Planning/Probate sections) and The Mississippi Bar. TODD A. ROSSMAN is a shareholder in the Nampa, Idaho law firm of White, Peterson, Gigray, Rossman, Nye & Nichols, P.A. His areas of practice include estate planning, probate and trust administration, business formations and transactions, elder law, guardianships & conservatorships, and taxation. Mr. Rossman earned his B.B.A. degree from Boise State University, his J.D. degree from Gonzaga Law School and his LL.M degree from the University of Denver School of Law. He is a member of the Idaho State Bar (member, Taxation, Probate & Trust Law Section), 3rd District Bar Association (past President), Southwest Idaho Estate Planning Council (past President) and the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys.
