MAX E. KIRK is a shareholder with Ball, Kirk & Holm P.C., where his main areas of practice are legal malpractice, litigation and appeals, medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents (plaintiff), personal injury (plaintiff) products liability law, professional malpractice. Mr. Kirk is a member of the Iowa Academy of Trial Lawyers, American College of Trial Lawyers, American Board of Trial Advocates, Iowa Association for Justice, American Association for Justice, Iowa State Bar Association, Iowa State Bar Foundation, Black Hawk County Bar Association, First Judicial Nominating Commission, Iowa Supreme Court Grievance Commission and American Academy of Alternative Dispute Resolution Attorneys. He earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Upper Iowa University and his J.D. degree, with distinction, from the University of Iowa College of Law. CAROL J. KIRKLEY is an associate attorney at Crawford, Sullivan, Read & Roemerman, P.C., where she practices primarily in the area of family law. She represents clients in a variety of family law matters, including but not limited to: divorce, paternity, equitable distribution of property, alimony/spousal support, child custody and physical care, visitation and alternative care, child support, medical support, post high school educational subsidy, modification of decrees, and enforcement of decrees. Ms. Kirkley earned her B.A. degree, with distinction, from the University of Iowa and her J.D. degree from Drake University Law School. She is a member of the American, Iowa State (Family and Juvenile Law Section) and the Linn County (Fee Arbitration Committee) bar associations.
