HEATHER K. L. CONAHAN is a partner in the Honolulu law firm of Loden & Conahan, LLLC. Her areas of practice include estate tax, probate, estate planning, wills, charitable gifting (representing both donors and nonprofit organizations), life insurance trusts, and complex estate planning issues. Ms. Conahan earned her B.A. degree from Occidental College at Los Angeles and her J.D. degree, cum laude, from Tulane University Law School at New Orleans. She has previously spoken for the American College Trust and Estate Counsel; the Hawaii Association of Public Accountants; the Hawaii Society of CPAs; and various other organizations, groups, corporations and continuing legal education organizations. Ms. Conahan is a member of the Hawaii State (Probate and Estate Planning Section) and American (Real Property, Probate and Trusts Section) bar associations, and she has been named as one of The Best Lawyers in America for Estate Planning Since 2006. KENN N. KOJIMA is a sole practitioner concentrating on trust and estates litigation, contested conservatorships and guardianships, and trust administration. He was previously a litigation partner at Dwyer Imanaka Schraff Kudo Meyer and Fujimoto, where he was a commercial litigator in real estate, bankruptcy and foreclosures. Mr. Kojima earned his B.B.A., with high honors, from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and his J.D. degree from the Georgetown University Law Center. He is a member of the American and Hawaii State (member, Probate and Elder Law sections) bar associations, the American Association for Justice, and the National Asian Pacific Bar Association. JOHN G. ROTH is an attorney with the law firm of Robert W. Hastings II A Law Corporation. He practices exclusively in estate planning. Before joining Robert W. Hastings II A Law Corporation, Mr. Roth was an associate with Case Lombardi & Pettit, where he concentrated on real estate law, estate planning and taxation. He is a frequent speaker on topics relating to estate planning and estate administration. Mr. Roth is the president-elect of the Young Lawyers Division of the HSBA and the president of the Rotary Club of North Hawaii. He earned his B.S. degree, with honors, from the University of Kansas (Phi Beta Kappa), and his J.D. and M.B.A. dual degree from the University of Hawaii.
