KENN N. KOJIMA is a sole practitioner concentrating on trust and estates litigation, contested conservatorships and guardianships, and trust administration. He was previously a litigation partner at Dwyer Imanaka Schraff Kudo Meyer and Fujimoto, where he was a commercial litigator in real estate, bankruptcy and foreclosures. Mr. Kojima earned his Bachelors of Business Administration, with high honors, from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and his J.D. degree from the Georgetown University Law Center. He is a member of the American and Hawaii State (member, Probate and Elder Law sections) bar associations, the American Association for Justice, and the National Asian Pacific Bar Association. MARGARET JANE NAKAMATSU currently practices with Est8Planning Counsel LLLC, in Honolulu, Hawaii. She manages the firm's fiduciary administration cases including probates, guardianships, conservatorships and trust administrations. Ms. Nakamatsu earned her B.A. degree from the University of Texas at Austin and her J.D. degree from the University of Texas School of Law. She is a former member of the Board of Education for the State of Hawaii, is a member of the Board of Directors for the Hawaii Chapter of the Christian Legal Society, and is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association and its Probate, Real Property and Elder Law Sections. SCOTT C. SUZUKI is a sole practitioner in Honolulu, where his main area of practice is estate planning, with a focus on elder law issues and special needs planning. Those areas also include representing clients with guardianships, conservatorships, probates, wills, trusts, powers of attorneys, healthcare directives, Medicaid and long-term care planning and public benefit planning. Mr. Suzuki earned his B.A. degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and his J.D. degree from William S. Richardson School of Law in Honolulu, Hawaii. He is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association, the University of Hawaii Elder Law Program, Family Voices, Kapahulu Community Center, Aloha Independent Living of Hawaii, Hawaii FIDO Service Dogs and the Special Needs Alliance.
