JENNIFER GILES is an attorney with the Alpharetta, Georgia, law firm of Aussenberg Waggoner LLP, where her areas of practice include family law, divorce and adoption. She is a member of the Junior League of Atlanta and the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers, where she is on the Board of Directors. Ms. Giles earned her B.A. degree from Heidelberg College and her J.D. degree from St. Louis University. ALLEN F. HARRIS is a founding partner of the Atlanta law firm of Peterson & Harris. Mr. Harris focuses his practice on divorce and family law matters, including custody, visitation, support and prenuptial agreements. He is a member of the Lawyer's Club of Atlanta, the Old Warhorse Lawyer's Club, the Atlanta Bar Association (Family Law Section), and the State Bar of Georgia (Family Law Section). Mr. Harris received his B.A. degree from Georgia College and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Walter F. George Law School, Mercer University. PATRICIA D. SHEWMAKER is a founding partner of Lynch & Shewmaker, LLC, where she practices in the areas of domestic litigation, military administrative law, and wills and estate planning. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, Ms. Shewmaker served in the United States Army for ten years, both on active duty and with the Georgia Army National Guard. While in the Army, she served in military intelligence as a company commander of a counterintelligence company during OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM. STEVEN P. SHEWMAKER formed the domestic litigation firm of Lynch & Shewmaker, LLC along with his wife Patricia D. Shewmaker, and Catherine G. Lynch after serving for 11 years on active duty in the United States Army. While in the Army, Mr. Shewmaker served with a variety of military organizations, including infantry, military intelligence and judge advocate units in the United States, Japan, Iraq and Afghanistan. He continues to serve as a judge advocate in the Army Reserves where he advises soldiers and military commanders on a wide range of issues, including family law matters. At Lynch & Shewmaker, LLC, Mr. Shewmaker practices in the areas of domestic litigation, criminal defense, and military criminal and administrative matters. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Alabama, his M.A. degree from Saint Mary's University and his J.D. degree from Georgia State College of Law. DONALD A. WEISSMAN is a sole practitioner in Atlanta, where he practices in the areas of family law, including child custody, divorce, alimony and paternity litigation. He has lectured to various professional groups and has written papers on divorce and other family law issues. Mr. Weissman was a principal drafter of, and assisted in, passing legislation requiring child support for adult children until high school graduation. He earned his A.B. degree from the College of William & Mary and his J.D. degree from Emory University. Mr. Weissman is a member of the Atlanta, Cobb County, Sandy Springs and American (member, Family Law Section) bar associations, the State Bar of Georgia, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, The Association of Trial Lawyers of America and a diplomat of the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is admitted to practice in all Georgia and federal courts, including the United States Supreme Court.
