JOSEPH A. FRIED is an attorney at Fried Rogers Goldberg LLC, where his practice areas include automobile and bus collisions, tractor-trailer and truck collisions, defective and unsafe products, negligent security, dangerous roadway conditions, dangerous roadway construction projects and pain syndrome cases. Mr. Fried has battled some of the most powerful trucking companies and obtained justice for victims of catastrophic injuries or wrongful death. As a former police officer, he has a strong foundation of investigative and forensic skills which he utilizes in combination with his cutting edge work in psychodrama and communication theories to find the truth behind every case. Mr. Fried is a board member of the Association of Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America and was the first lawyer in Georgia certified by AITLAmerica as a specialist in handling truck accident claims. His civil trial practice concentrates in personal injury and wrongful death. He was a partner at the Atlanta law firm of Lokey and Bowden from 1977-1985. Mr. Hill is a frequent speaker at legal education seminars on the subjects of evidence in Georgia state and federal trial courts, trial tactics and jury persuasion, trucking and automobile litigation, medical negligence, product liability and security, and premises liability. He has been a faculty member at the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA), Georgia Institute for Continuing Legal Education, presenting "Evidence for Georgia Trial Lawyers," and at the annual Kessler Trial Training Program at Emory University. Mr. Hill wrote "Preparing the Complex Personal Injury Case for Trial from the Time of Suit," Journal of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. He earned his B.A. degree from Emory College and his J.D. degree from Emory University School of Law. JACKSON is a trial attorney and partner at the law firm of Hawkins & Parnell, LLP in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Jackson has practiced law almost entirely as defense counsel for persons and companies involved in civil litigation or professionals involved in civil claims and licensing complaints. His current practice focuses on professional liability defense with an emphasis on defending legal malpractice claims and bar complaints, coverage litigation and catastrophic tort defense. Mr. Jackson's practice also has included general insurance defense in automobile and premises liability cases, tractor-trailer defense, food product and coverage litigation. He has tried cases in nearly every metro-Atlanta county involving automobile accidents, insurance fraud, first-party coverage claims, premises liability, insurance coverage declaratory judgments, abusive litigation claims, professional liability and wrongful death. JOHN H. PEAVY JR. is an attorney at the law firm of Bovis, Kyle & Burch LLC, where he has extensive experience in primarily defending cases involving product liability, premises liability, automobile and trucking liability and E&O claims involving accounting, law and insurance agents. Mr. Peavy also has experience in commercial and residential construction cases, Clean Water Act environmental cases, and commercial and business litigation.
