AMY R. HENDERSON is an associate with Bart, Meyer & Company LLP and has seven years of experience in the areas of advanced estate planning, estate and gift taxation, trust and estate administration, the representation of fiduciaries, guardianship and conservatorship proceedings, and family business representation. Ms. Henderson graduated, summa cum laude, from The University of Alabama School of Law, where she served as special works editor of the Alabama Law Review. After law school, she served as a clerk to the Honorable Joel F. Dubina, judge for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Ms. Henderson earned her B.A. degree, with honors, from Auburn University. She is a member of both the State Bar of Georgia and Alabama State Bar. ANDREW W. LOHN is of counsel to the Savannah, Georgia firm of Bart, Meyer & Company LLP, and serves as the director of Legal and Fund Administration for West Mountain Partners, an Atlanta-based Fund of Hedge Funds. He has extensive experience in wealth management, and domestic and international estate planning for high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and business owners. Additionally, Mr. Lohn works with early stage companies and alternative asset investments. He has been in law practice since 1986 and has worked in the Trust and Estates Group of Powell, Goldstein, Frazer & Murphy (a top Atlanta-based law firm that recently merged with Bryan Cave, LLP), and the Private Client Advisor Group of Deloitte & Touche, where his practice focused on business succession planning for family businesses throughout the Southeast. Mr. Lohn earned his B.A. degree from Bob Jones University, his J.D. degree from Georgia State University College of Law and his LL.M. degree from the University Of Alabama School Of Law. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and Alabama State Bar, as well as a member of the Planned Giving Advisory Council for Georgia State University and the Public Policy Advisory Committee of the Angel Capital Association. ROY E. PAUL has wide experience in a number of areas including probate and estate litigation, commercial litigation, property damage/construction law, class actions, and environmental litigation. Mr. Paul is admitted to practice in the Court of Federal Claims; the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit; the U.S. District courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern districts of Georgia; as well as in all Georgia courts. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Savannah Bar Association. Mr. Paul is a frequent lecturer on construction law and other topics. He also is a registered arbitrator and mediator with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution. Mr. Paul earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Georgia Law School. While at the University of Georgia, he was elected to Phi Alpha Theta, Phi Kappa Phi and Phi Beta Kappa. While in Law School, Mr. Paul served on the editorial and managing boards of the Georgia Law Review. Mr. Paul also was active in moot court. He was Law Clerk to the Honorable Dudley H. Bowen, Jr., U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of Georgia. Mr. Paul has practiced law in Savannah, Georgia for more than 26 years.
