HON. M. GINO BROGDON is a partner in the law firm of Pope, McGlamry, Kilpatrick, Morrison & Norwood, LLP, where his practice is focused on personal injury claims and mediation. He earned his B.A. in economics from Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio and his J.D. degree from the Indiana University School of Law. Upon completing law school, Judge Brogdon moved to Atlanta to begin his legal career. After establishing a successful solo practice, he served on the State Court of Fulton County from March 1996 to July 2002, and on the Superior Court of Fulton County from July 2002 to December 2005. He returned to private practice in 2005. Judge Brogdon is a frequent speaker at legal education seminars and has also appeared on CNN, MSNBC and GPTV. Additionally, he has served as an adjunct professor at the Emory University School of Law and John Marshall School of Law. He is a member of several associations, including the State Bar of Georgia; the Indiana State, Atlanta, and Gate City bar associations; and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. Judge Brogdon has also written two novels, Demons in the Crawlspace and Inside She Waited. IRWIN M. ELLERIN is a partner in the law firm of Ellerin & Associates, where he practices in the areas of personal injury, products liability and medical malpractice. He has been practicing law for more than 30 years. Mr. Ellerin has lectured extensively on behalf of the American Trial Lawyers of America, and ICLE and the GTLA on various subjects including medical negligence, failure to diagnose breast cancer, gastric bypass litigation, and HIPAA, and has published several articles on related subjects. He also has written numerous articles on breast cancer for the American Trial Lawyers Association, and has presented on breast cancer, gastric bypass and HIPAA on behalf of the American Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Ellerin also has given presentations on the use of medical records for NBI, Inc. He earned his B.G.S. degree from the University of Miami and his J.D. degree from John Marshall Law School. MARCIA M. ERNST is a partner in the litigation practice of Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP, with substantial experience in commercial litigation at the trial and appellate court levels in both the state and federal court systems. Ms. Ernst has 23 years of complex business and multi-party litigation experience, including fraud, business torts, contract disputes, trade secrets, debtor/creditor litigation, and intellectual property claims. Her practice also includes real estate development, construction and environmental litigation. Ms. Ernst earned her B.B.A. degree from the University of Georgia and her J.D. degree from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she was a member of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law. In 2010, she was selected by her peers for inclusion in Georgia Trend magazine's 2010 Legal Elite. Ms. Ernst is a member of the State Bar of Georgia (Trial Practice and Real Property Law sections). WILLIAM C. GENTRY is a partner with Gentry, Smith, Dettmering, Morgan & Schnatmeier, LLP, in Marietta, Georgia. He has been practicing law since 1986, and he practices in the areas of family law, automobile accidents, wrongful death, personal injury, and workers' compensation. In March 2000, Mr. Gentry served as president for the 2001 to 2002 fiscal year of the Cobb County Bar Association, an organization whose membership now numbers over 1,000 fellow Cobb County lawyers and judges. In June 2002, he was presented with the President's Cup by the State Bar of Georgia for leading the finest local bar association in the State of Georgia during his tenure as Cobb Bar President. Mr. Gentry has tried and argued hundreds of cases in both state and federal trial and appellate courts throughout Georgia, and he has handled dozens of appeals in Georgia's Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals, and the 11th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals in Atlanta. He is a member of the Cobb County Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Gentry is also a member of the U.S. Supreme Court Bar. Mr. Gentry is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Virginia's Economics Honors Program, where he earned his B.A. degree. After college, he worked for two years as a congressional aide in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington D.C., before returning to his native Georgia to earn his J.D. degree from the University of Georgia Law School. MICHAEL L. McGLAMRY is a partner in the law firm of Pope, McGlamry, Kilpatrick, Morrison & Norwood, LLP, where he practices in the areas of plaintiff personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, mass tort and consumer class actions. He graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. degree from Wake Forest University and cum laude with a J.D. degree from the University of Georgia. While at Wake Forest, Mr. McGlamry was quarterback and captain of the football team, All ACC Academic Team (three years) and Scholar-Athlete for the ACC in 1977-1978. Following his graduation from the University of Georgia, Mr. McGlamry began practicing law in 1982. Mr. McGlamry is a member of several associations including the Atlanta and American bar associations, the State Bar of Georgia, The Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (chair, Business Section; past chair of Ethics Committee) and the Alabama Trial Lawyers Association. He is admitted to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit; U.S. Supreme Court; Georgia Supreme Court; U.S. District Court, Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Georgia; and the Georgia Court of Appeals.
