COREY RIECK is the president, founder, and partner of LTCcompass, a division of the World Insurance Association that focuses exclusively on long term care education and enrollments for consumers, agents, business owners, and companies alike. LTCcompass operates in all 50 states and is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Rieck also serves as the National Director of Long Term Care Operations for the World Insurance Association, a master general agent that provides insurance products, training, and marketing support for agents nationwide. In 2001, he founded LTCcompass to devote the remainder of his career to long term care. This decision was largely influenced by his experience witnessing firsthand what happens to a family when a member with poor health does not have long term care insurance. When his mother was in her late forties, she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and rendered uninsurable. In order to save others from the challenges his family faced, Mr. Rieck devotes considerable time to community-based education. He regularly serves as a speaker for speaking engagements that clear the fog and dispel the myths surrounding long term care. Mr. Rieck also spends a great deal of time educating long term care professionals. As one of four full time trainers for the long term care industry's premier long term care designation, CLTC (Certified in Long Term Care), he trains agents in all 50 states. Since 2003, Mr. Rieck has successfully trained over 1,000 agents on how to properly assist their clients with long term care planning. Insurance carriers and the industry regard him as one of the key thought leaders in long term care planning education and implementation for consumers and businesses. He earned his BBA degree from the University of Iowa and his master's degree from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. Prior to founding LTCcompass, he worked in the pharmaceutical industry and achieved numerous awards for his top performance in sales and training for companies such as A.H. Robbins Pharmaceutical Company, Athena Neurosciences, and DENTSPLY Implant. In 1999, he entered the insurance business as financial planning services professional with Mass Mutual and by 2001 decided to focus entirely on long term care planning.
