TIMOTHY J. BUCKLEY III, is a managing partner with the firm Buckley Brown, P.C., where his practice areas include casualty, commercial litigation/arbitration, municipal liability, product liability, transportation litigation and workers' compensation. Mr. Buckley has written several articles in the litigation area and has served as a featured speaker on governmental and civil liability issues. He has taught litigation courses at the Emory University School of Law for more than 15 years. He has recently been named a "Super Lawyer" and designated as among the "Top Georgia Lawyers." Mr. Buckley is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Atlanta Bar Association (Executive Board, Litigation Section). He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Notre Dame and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law. TERESA CUK is a paralegal, assisting in gathering information to properly prepare cases, and in litigation support once suit is filed. Ms. Cuk is a former paralegal for the Atlanta law firm of Pope, McGlamry, Kilpatrick, Morrison & Norwood, LLP. She has more than 17 years of litigation experience, working primarily on cases involving personal injury, trucking litigation, business and consumer litigation, and medical malpractice. In 1983, Ms. Cuk was selected as one of two individuals from the state of Arkansas to serve as a congressional intern for Congressman John Paul Hammerschmidt and U.S. Senator David Pryor. While serving as an intern, she attended the University of The District of Columbia, majoring in political science. After completing her internship, Ms. Cuk acquired her paralegal certification from East Texas State University. She has previously lectured on case law and rules changes with regard to e-discovery. Ms. Cuk is an active paralegal member of American Association for Justice, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and is a new member of the Gate City Bar Association. BRYAN C. RAMOS is the founder of the Ramos Law Firm, a firm that is devoted to the practice of workers' compensation in Georgia. He is a graduate of Florida State University and earned his J.D. degree at the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. His legal career began as the staff attorney for the Houston Judicial Circuit in Perry, Georgia, where he served under the Honorable Judges George F. Nunn, L.A. McConnell, and Edward D. Lukemire. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Ramos joined a large Atlanta based law firm to specialize in civil litigation. Mr. Ramos has several articles published focusing on the practice of workers' compensation and was highlighted in the American Bar Association's Journal. (ABA, October 2003). Recently, Mr. Ramos received an "AV Preeminent" rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He was also selected as one of Georgia's "Rising Stars" for 2010 by Super Lawyers magazine. He possesses significant trial and mediation experience before the State Board of Workers' Compensation. Furthermore, Mr. Ramos is admitted to the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia, the Federal Northern District Court, and Supreme Court of the United States of America. TANYA C. REED is a litigation specialist with almost 20 years of paralegal and case management experience with Bondurant, Mixson & Elmore, LLP, and the recipient of the 2005-2006 Paralegal of the Year Award ( Fulton County Daily Report ). She has provided litigation support for some of the largest complex litigation cases in the State of Georgia, providing valuable expertise in all areas of case management. Ms. Reed has managed more than 20 trials (both bench and jury trials) with an emphasis on document intensive matters. She has managed numerous high profile cases in state, federal and appellate courts, including class actions, federal and state prosecutions, and many well-known pro bono matters; as well as national and international mediations and arbitrations. Ms. Reed received her B.A. degree from the University of Georgia and her paralegal certificate from the National Center for Paralegal Training, specializing in general litigation. She is a member of the Georgia Association of Paralegals; and is often a featured presenter at seminars involving case management, effective use of paralegals, electronic discovery and trial preparation. She acts as a resource to the in-house paralegals and assists with the training of our new paralegals and associates.
