CHARLES HOFFECKER is an attorney with Ney Russell Hoffecker & Erck, where his practice focuses primarily on representing clients in employment litigation, contract litigation, commercial/business litigation and liability litigation. Mr. Hoffecker has extensive trial experience in both state and federal courts throughout the country. He also regularly conducts arbitrations, mediations and appears in state and federal appellate courts on behalf of the firm's clients. Prior to forming Ney Russell, Mr. Hoffecker practiced law at one of the Southeast's leading litigation firms and also served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Georgia Department of Law. He is a member of State Bar of Georgia and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Middle and Southern districts of Georgia. Mr. Hoffecker earned his B.A. degree, with honors, from Albion College and his J.D. degree from Valparaiso University School of Law. KIM M. JACKSON is a trial attorney and partner at the law firm of Hawkins Parnell Thackston & Young LLP in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Jackson has practiced law almost entirely as defense counsel for persons and companies involved in civil litigation or professionals involved in civil claims and licensing complaints. His current practice focuses on professional liability defense with an emphasis on defending legal malpractice claims and bar complaints, coverage litigation and catastrophic tort defense. Mr. Jackson's practice also has included general insurance defense in automobile and premises liability cases, tractor-trailer defense, food product and coverage litigation. He has tried cases in nearly every metro-Atlanta county involving automobile accidents, insurance fraud, first-party coverage claims, premises liability, insurance coverage declaratory judgments, abusive litigation claims, professional liability and wrongful death. Mr. Jackson is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Kentucky Bar Association, the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association, the Defense Research Institute (Professionalism and Ethics Committee), the American Bar Association (Litigation Section), the Atlanta Bar Association (Litigation Section) and the Lawyer's Club of Atlanta. He has previously spoken at continuing legal education seminars on defending abusive litigation claims in Georgia and on subjects concerning legal ethics and professionalism. Mr. Jackson was recognized in October of 2005 to 2007 as a Rising Star in the Georgia legal community and in March 2009 as a Super Lawyer by Law & Politics Magazine's publication of Georgia SuperLawyers. He earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Wabash College and his J.D. degree, Order of the Coif, from the University of Kentucky, where he served as associate editor of the Kentucky Law Review. EDGAR S. MANGIAFICO JR. is a partner with Ragsdale, Beals, Seigler, Patterson & Gray, LLP. He has been engaged in an active civil litigation practice since 1978. Mr. Edgar specializes in tort, business and insurance litigation and alternative dispute resolution, including personal injury (product liability, premises liability, motor vehicle liability and general liability); professional liability; insurance coverage and contract matters, representing plaintiffs as well as defendants. He earned his A.B. degree, cum laude, from Georgia State University and his J.D. degree from Emory University School of Law. Mr. Edgar was trained as a mediation and arbitration neutral through Resolution Resources, Inc. in 1998, and has considerable ADR as well as trial and appellate litigation experience. He has authored several publications and has spoken at numerous legal seminars on tort and insurance topics. BRIAN J. MORRISSEY is a partner with the Atlanta law firm of Ragsdale, Beals, Seigler, Patterson & Gray, LLP, where he practices in the areas of complex business construction and insurance coverage litigation. He has published numerous articles on a variety of topics, including current construction law issues, and published four chapters in Georgia Jurisprudence. Mr. Morrissey is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, The Florida Bar, and the Atlanta and American bar associations. Mr. Morrissey earned his B.A. degree from Davidson College and his J.D. degree, with honors, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
