STEVEN R. ASHBY is a member of the law firm of Ashby Family Law Associates, P.C., in Tucker, Georgia, where he focuses in the areas of family law, divorce, wills and estates, personal injury, aviation, and medical malpractice. Mr. Ashby is a member of the DeKalb and Gwinnett County bar associations, and the State Bar of Georgia, The Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, and the Experimental Aircraft Association. He earned his B.S. degree, with highest honors, from the Georgia Institute of Technology and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Georgia. WILLIAM D. deGOLIAN is an attorney at the law firm of Johnson & Ward, Attorneys at Law, where he brings more than 30 years of litigation, trial and appellate experience to his practice. Mr. deGolian has been recognized for years as a "Georgia Super Lawyer." He represents claimants in tort, property, casualty and commercial litigation matters, including nursing and emergency medical services neglect, roadway and intersection design and insurance coverage and contract disputes. Mr. deGolian earned his A.B. degree from Princeton University and his J.D. degree from the University of Georgia School of Law. He has written and lectured extensively on civil practice, trial advocacy, nursing neglect litigation and professional ethics. Mr. deGolian is a former president of the Atlanta Bar Association and former chair of its Litigation Section. He is also a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the American Association for Justice, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and the Lawyers Club of Atlanta. He is admitted to practice in all federal and state courts in Georgia, as well as the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and the Supreme Court of the United States. Mr. deGolian recently led a citizen's group in a successful legal challenge to a municipal bond validation proceeding. THERESE G. FRANZÉN is one of the firm's founding partners and manages the firm's consumer financial services litigation and regulatory enforcement practice. Ms. Franzén is chair of the American Bar Association's Consumer Financial Services Committee and a Fellow and member of the Board of Regents of the American College of Consumer Financial Services Attorneys. She serves on the Governing Committee of the Conference on Consumer Finance Law and is immediate past President of the Georgia Real Estate Fraud Prevention and Awareness Coalition. She graduated summa cum laude with honors from the University of Georgia with a B.A. in History, and from the University of Georgia School of Law. Prior to founding Franzén and Salzano, P.C., Ms. Franzén served as General Counsel at Fleet Finance, and prior to that managed the Commercial Litigation Department at an Atlanta firm (now Lamberth, Cifelli, Stokes, Ellis & Nason, PA), and spent two years as an assistant solicitor prosecuting primarily domestic violence cases in Cobb County, Georgia. Ms. Franzén is admitted to practice in Georgia. MICHAEL S. GOODE is an attorney with the law firm of Brock, Clay, Calhoun & Rogers, LLC, where he practices in the areas of estate planning, probate, asset protection, business law, international law, taxation, commercial leasing and complex business litigation. Mr. Goode is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Tennessee Bar Association, the World Trade Center Atlanta (member, China Business Alliance), and the Society of Financial Service Professionals (board member, Atlanta Chapter). He is admitted to practice in Georgia and Tennessee, and has earned his B.A. degree from Colby College, his M.S. degree from Northeastern University, his J.D. degree from William and Mary School of Law, and his LL.M. degree from the New York University School of Law.
