STEVEN R. ASHBY is a member of the law firm of Ashby Family Law Associates, P.C., in Tucker, Georgia, where he focuses in the areas of family law, divorce, wills and estates, personal injury, aviation, and medical malpractice. Mr. Ashby is a member of the DeKalb and Gwinnett County bar associations, and the State Bar of Georgia, The Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, and the Experimental Aircraft Association. TAMAR OBERMAN FAULHABER is an attorney and head of the Domestic Relations Department at Vernis & Bowling of Atlanta, LLC. She is a trained guardian ad litem and domestic mediator, and over the past 15 years, has handled all types of family law matters, including divorces, child support, custody, legitimation and paternity, contempt, domestic violence, international custody disputes, appeals and jury trials. In addition to the practice of domestic litigation, Ms. Faulhaber also taught Domestic Relations Law as an adjunct professor at John Marshall Law School in Atlanta. She is admitted to practice law in California, Arizona and Georgia, and is a member of the Family Law sections of the American and Atlanta bar associations. She served on the Rules Committee to establish and maintain the Fulton County Family Division, which has served as an example as a model of a family court to other counties in the state. Ms. Faulhaber also served on the Forms Committee of the Fulton County Family Law Information Center to assist citizens of the state to represent themselves in domestic matters. She earned her J.D. degree, magna cum laude, with honors, from Lafayette College and from UCLA Law School. WILLIAM C. GENTRY is a partner with Gentry, Smith, Dettmering, Morgan & Schnatmeier, LLP, in Marietta, Georgia. He has been practicing law since 1986, and he practices in the areas of family law, automobile accidents, wrongful death, personal injury, and workers' compensation. In March 2000, Mr. Gentry served as president, for the 2001 to 2002 fiscal year, of the Cobb County Bar Association, an organization whose membership now numbers over 1,000 fellow Cobb County lawyers and judges. In June 2002, he was presented with the President's Cup by the State Bar of Georgia for leading the finest local bar association in the State of Georgia during his tenure as Cobb Bar President. Mr. Gentry has tried and argued hundreds of cases in both state and federal trial and appellate courts throughout Georgia, and he has handled dozens of appeals in Georgia's Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals, and the 11th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals in Atlanta. He is a member of the Cobb County Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Gentry is also a member of the U.S. Supreme Court Bar. Mr. Gentry is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Virginia's Economics Honors Program, where he earned his B.A. degree. After college, he worked for two years as a congressional aide in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington D.C., before returning to his native Georgia to earn his J.D. degree from the University of Georgia Law School. DEBORAH M. LUBIN has devoted her practice to resolving family law issues for clients in the Atlanta area for more than 20 years. Ms. Lubin works closely with individuals going through a difficult time, providing timely and personalized advice in a supportive and compassionate manner on the needs and issues facing individuals and families in divorce, collaborative divorce, custody and visitation, child support and other family law concerns. In addition, her experience as a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem gives clients the services of a lawyer who is also aware of the needs of their children, and dedicated to protecting the interests of their children during the divorce process. She earned her B.A. degree, in Sociology, from the University of Florida, her M.S.W. degree from the University of Houston and her J.D. degree from Emory University. Ms. Lubin was recently named in SuperLawyers and Atlanta Magazine as one of the top family law attorneys in Georgia. ANITA H. LYNN has a concentrated expertise in family law with more than 23 years of experience. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia (Family Law Section), the Atlanta (Executive Board, Family Law Section), and Cobb County bar associations, and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. Ms. Lynn is also the editor of the Family Law Section's newsletter for the Atlanta Bar Association. Additionally, she is certified as a collaborative divorce attorney and is a member of the Collaborative Law Institute of Georgia and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. Ms. Lynn has written and lectured on topics including "A Roadmap through Divorce," "Advanced Family Law Practice for Paralegals: Handling Financial Issues at a Higher Level," and "Advanced Family Law Practice for Paralegals: Assisting In Cases Involving Children." She graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with an undergraduate degree in Accounting, and earned her J.D. degree from Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law.
