JONATHAN C. GINSBERG is a member of Ginsberg Law Offices, P.C., in Atlanta, Georgia, where he has practiced for more than 23 years in the areas of consumer bankruptcy, Social Security disability and workers' compensation. He frequently serves as a continuing education instructor for consumer bankruptcy lawyers. Mr. Ginsberg publishes the Atlanta Bankruptcy blog at, www.thebklawyer.com/thebkblog, he is a contributing editor and founding member of the Bankruptcy Law Network blog, he serves on the faculty of Solo Practice University, and he regularly contributes guest posts to bankruptcy blogs throughout the country. Mr. Ginsberg is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Atlanta Bar Association, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and the National Organization of Social Security Claimant's Representatives. He earned his B.A. and J.D. degrees from Tulane University of Louisiana. JASON L. PETTIE has substantial experience as both a consumer bankruptcy attorney and as a business bankruptcy attorney, having represented both debtors and creditors in cases filed under chapters 7, 11, and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code. In 2008, Mr. Pettie was appointed to the panel of chapter 7 trustees in the Northern District of Georgia; in addition, he has served as a chapter 11 trustee. Mr. Pettie began his legal career with the bankruptcy group at Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP, one of Atlanta's oldest law firms. He left in 2007 to pursue a judicial clerkship with the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas, serving terms for the Honorable Audrey R. Evans and Chief Judge Richard D. Taylor. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia, and he graduated from the Howard University School of Law with honors. ALAN I. SEITMAN is an attorney in Atlanta, Georgia, where his practice areas include bankruptcy, debtor/creditor, consumer law, personal injury, business law and corporate law. Mr. Seitman received his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Hofstra University and his J.D. degree from Emory University. He is a member of the Cobb County and American bar associations and the State Bar of Georgia (member, Bankruptcy Section, Treasurer, Metro Atlanta Consumer Bankruptcy Group). BERND G. STITTLEBURG was born in Nuremberg, Germany and immigrated to the United States in 1955. Mr. Stittleburg spent his formative years in Rockford, Illinois where he attended Rock Valley Community College. He then worked in the mechanical engineering field for a number of years. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin with an Associates of Science in Business Administration degree, he moved to Sturbridge, Massachusetts. While in New England, he earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration from Clark University in 1987. In 1993, Mr. Stittleburg completed post graduate work in paralegal studies where he received the West Publishing Merit Award for outstanding scholastic performance. He began his legal career in the consumer bankruptcy field with Berliner Law Offices in Springfield, Massachusetts. In 1995 he continued his legal career when he began working for Galler and Ginsberg P.C. Continuing his relationship with Jonathan Ginsberg, Mr. Stittleburg joined Ginsberg Law Offices, P.C. in October of 1997. Mr. Stittleburg completed his legal studies while working with Ginsberg Law Offices and managed the bankruptcy department from the early part of 2001 through the latter part of 2004. In September 2004, Mr. Stittleburg opened the Stittleburg Law Offices, LLC and is currently assisting clients with Chapters 7 and 13 Consumer Bankruptcy cases, Small Business Bankruptcy cases and Uncontested Divorce matters. Mr. Stittleburg graduated, with honors, from John Marshall Law School Atlanta and was a staff member on John Marshall's inaugural law review publication entitled "The John Marshall Journal of Law and Ethnic Relations." He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Atlanta Metro Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys Group, and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.
