JASON L. PETTIE has substantial experience as both a consumer bankruptcy attorney and as a business bankruptcy attorney, having represented both debtors and creditors in cases filed under Chapters 7, 11, and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code. In 2008, he was appointed to the panel of chapter 7 trustees in the Northern District of Georgia and has served as a chapter 11 trustee. Mr. Pettie began his legal career with the bankruptcy group at Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP, one of Atlanta's oldest law firms. He left in 2007 to pursue a judicial clerkship with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas, serving terms for the Honorable Audrey R. Evans and Chief Judge Richard D. Taylor. Mr. Pettie earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia and his J.D. degree, with honors, from the Howard University School of Law. BETH E. ROGERS is the principal of Rogers Law Offices in downtown Atlanta. She has been an attorney for over 13 years and focuses her practice on creditors' rights, bankruptcy and related litigation. Ms. Rogers has lectured on receiverships for the Real Estate Section of the State Bar of Georgia. She is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the State Bar of Georgia and the Atlanta Bar Association. Ms. Rogers earned her B.A. degree from Antioch University and her J.D. degree from the University of Dayton School of Law. BERND G. STITTLEBURG is an attorney with Stittleburg Law Offices, LLC in Dunwoody, where he assists clients with chapters 7 and 13 consumer bankruptcy cases, small business bankruptcy cases and uncontested divorce matters. He has previously lectured for National Business Institute on bankruptcy issues. Mr. Stittleburg is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Atlanta Metro Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys Group and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. He earned his A.S. degree from the University of Wisconsin, his B.S. degree from Clark University and his J.D. degree from John Marshall Law School in Atlanta, where he was a staff member on their inaugural law review publication, The John Marshall Journal of Law and Ethnic Relations.
