STEVEN M. BRADY is an attorney in private practice with The Brady Law Firm, PA, in Orlando where he practices in the areas of insurance law and personal injury. He earned his B.S. degree from Florida State University and his J.D. degree from the University of Florida College of Law. Mr. Brady is admitted to practice in Florida and before all Florida district courts of appeal; the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Florida; the U.S. District, Northern District of Florida; and the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida. DIANE M. JANULIS has recently retired, after 11 years, as counsel with King & Spalding, LLP, where she practiced in the areas of healthcare, pharma products liability and product liability litigation. She earned her BSN degree, magna cum laude, from Georgetown University and her MSN degree from the University of Pennsylvania, concentrating in psychiatric nursing. For 13 years prior to entering law school, Ms. Janulis was a nursing educator and administrator. She earned her J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Maryland School of Law and is a member of the Order of the Coif. Ms. Janulis possesses extensive knowledge of the healthcare system; law; and medicine, drugs and pharmaceutical products issues from multiple perspectives. Her bar admissions include Connecticut, Georgia and Maryland; and she also is admitted to practice before the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, the Connecticut District Court, the Georgia Northern District Court and the Maryland District Court. Ms. Janulis has recently been admitted to represent veterans before The Veteran's Administration and is admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veteran's Claims. RACHEL KELLER is a professional engineer and senior consultant with experience, education and training in the fields of mechanical engineering and forensic engineering at Armstrong Forensic Engineers. Ms. Keller's practice is focused on providing consulting services to legal, insurance, governmental and corporate clients throughout the Southeastern United States. Her specific areas of expertise include passenger vehicle collision reconstruction; commercial vehicle crash investigation and analysis; pedestrian, bicycle, motorcycle, and alternative vehicle incidents; vehicle dynamics modeling; 3-D imaging and animation technology; driver performance and avoidance capabilities; product failures; and vehicle system components. Ms. Keller's ongoing training, education and certifications help her to maintain her knowledge of the latest developments in the field, qualifying her to render opinions on insurance claims, criminal proceedings and civil litigation. Ms. Keller has been court-qualified to provide expert witness testimony at trial. She earned her B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Virginia Tech University and her M.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Florida State University. She is a member of the Florida Engineering Society (FES), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), New Jersey Association of Accident Reconstructionists (NJAAR) and the Nation Academy of Forensic Engineers (NAFE). STEVEN A. RUNDELL PH.D. is a consulting biomechanist and mechanical engineer based in Southeast Michigan at Armstrong Forensic Engineers. Dr. Rundell's major practice areas include the forensic investigation of traumatic injury and computational analysis of orthopaedic and spinal implants. He earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees in mechanical engineering from Michigan State University and his Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering from Drexel University. Dr. Rundell is a licensed professional engineer and has published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and abstracts. He has presented scientific findings at both medical and engineering conferences. Most recently, Dr. Rundell has worked with the FDA to investigate failure modes of spinal implants in order to develop more robust pre-clinical test standards. He uses his understanding of mechanical engineering and injury biomechanics to perform forensic investigations of accidents. Recent investigations include: evaluating the effect of seatbelt use during a large off-road dump truck rollover; determining the likelihood of spinal injury during a rear-end motor vehicle collision; investigating the cause of a shoulder injury during a slip and fall on a construction site; and determining the forces and motions imparted to a pedestrian during contact with a vehicle. Dr. Rundell is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and American Society of Biomechanics (ASB). GARY S. WEISMAN is an attorney with Older, Lundy & Weisman, Attorneys at Law in Tampa, where his practice is concentrated in the areas of insurance coverage and claims handling issues. He has written articles and lectured on insurance bad faith and closing arguments for the Florida Justice Association. Mr. Weisman earned his B.A. degree from George Washington University and his J.D. degree from Florida State University College of Law. He is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the Florida Justice Association and The Florida Bar.
