M. KRISTEN ALLMAN is of counsel with Constangy, Brooks & Smith, LLP. She has extensive litigation and counseling experience in all areas of employment law representing primarily private sector employers and non-profits. Ms. Allman has successfully handled a wide range of litigation matters in federal and state courts in Florida, as well as other parts of the country, including collective and individual wage-hour actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, family and medical leave, disability, ADA Title III, USERRA, workplace violence, breach of contract, defamation, negligent hiring/negligent retention, fraudulent misrepresentation, whistle-blowing, wrongful death, ERISA and commercial claims. She has also successfully defended management before numerous government administrative agencies such as the Wage-Hour Division, EEOC, OSHA and the NLRB. Ms. Allman is further devoted to providing employers with preventive advice and counseling in all aspects of employment law; policy analysis and drafting (including affirmative action); training; and employment law audits with special emphasis on wage-hour issues. She is a former partner/shareholder with two national employment law firms and previously worked as senior corporate counsel for a Fortune 500 subsidiary. Ms. Allman is a frequent speaker on labor and employment law topics, including wage and hour compliance issues, workplace bullying, the ADA, FMLA and workplace violence to such organizations as the Society for Human Resource Management, HR Florida, HR Tampa, Mid-Florida SHRM, Polk County Workforce 20/20, Bureau of Relations, SW Florida Employers Association, Council on Education Management, Tampa Chamber of Commerce and the Agency for Workforce Innovation and Sterling Educational Services. Ms. Allman earned her B.S. degree from the University of Florida and her J.D. degree from Florida State University. She is associated with The Florida Bar, Hillsborough County Bar Association, the University of South Florida, SW Florida Employers Association, U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida, Southeastern School of Addiction Studies, Society for Human Resource Management and the Suncoast Human Resources Management Association. JOHN W. CAMPBELL is a managing partner in the Tampa office of Constangy, Brooks & Smith, LLP, where he practices in the areas of employment and business litigation, employer rights, ERISA litigation, employment at will and whistle-blower litigation. He has lectured for The Florida Bar's Labor and Employment Law Section, and business and employers groups on employment law issues. Mr. Campbell also co-chaired The Florida Bar's "Advanced Labor and Employment Law" seminar. He has co-written, "And the Walls Came Tumbling Down: Tort Remedies Collapse Under the Growing Weight of the Economic Loss Rule," The Advocate, September, 1994. Mr. Campbell is a member of The Florida Bar (member, Labor and Employment Law and Trial Lawyers sections). He earned his B.S. and J.D. degrees from the University of Florida. MICHELLE ERIN NADEAU is an attorney with Kwall, Showers & Barack, PA. Ms. Nadeau's areas of practice include employment litigation, employment law and civil rights litigation. She earned her B.A. degree from the University of Michigan and her J.D. degree from the University of Michigan Law School. Ms. Nadeau is admitted to practice in Florida, the U.S. District Court Middle District of Florida and the U.S. Court of Appeals 11th Circuit. She is a member of the Clearwater Bar Association.
