EDWARD R. BLUMBERG is a partner in the Miami firm of Deutsch & Blumberg, P.A. He is certified as a civil trial advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, and is a board certified civil trial lawyer by The Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education since 1983. Mr. Blumberg has focused his practice in the areas of negligence, medical malpractice, insurance, wrongful death and products liability law, and civil trial and insurance litigation. Mr. Blumberg is author of "Proof of Negligence, Florida Torts," Matthew Bender (1988), and he was an adjunct professor at the University of Miami Paralegal School. DAVIS has practiced in the area of plaintiff's personal injury, wrongful death and medical malpractice exclusively. After working as an associate in a plaintiff's injury firm, Mr. Davis formed his own practice in 1997. Jeffrey R. Davis, P.A. represents victims of negligence, medical malpractice, product liability, dog bites, motor vehicle accidents, boating accidents and premises liability. He attended college at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, where he graduated with high honors in 1983. Mr. Davis then attended law school at the University of Miami School of Law, where he graduated in 1986. He was admitted to The Florida Bar that same year. As a practicing lawyer, Jeffrey R. Davis has served on various committees of The Florida Bar, including several grievance committees and committees on the unauthorized practice of law. DUTTON obtained his doctorate of law from Ohio Northern University, Pettit College of Law in 1984. While in law school, Mr. Dutton served on the Law Review's editorial board and the Moot Court's executive board. For his outstanding academic achievement in law school, Mr. Dutton was selected to Who' s Who Among American Law Students. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Florida Defense Lawyers and served as their Continuing Legal Education chairperson. He is presently on the Board of Directors for the Medical Claim Defense Network (MCDN). Additionally, he is a frequent CLE guest lecturer on insurance related issues to include the topics of Florida no-fault law in relation to current PIP trends, and handling and litigating insurance bad faith claims. Mr. Dutton is a member of the Defense Research Institute, the Hillsborough County Bar Association and The Florida Bar. He has been admitted to the U.S. district courts for the Middle and Southern districts of Florida, and has been Board Certified in Civil Trial Practice by The Florida Bar since 1992. Mr. Dutton is an AV rated attorney in The Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. He is listed as one of Florida's top lawyers in 2006, 2008, 2009 & 2010 in Super Lawyers under civil litigation defense and was recently named as one of Tampa Bay 's top lawyers.
