CARY A.W. BRASWELL is a partner with Boyd & Jenerette, P.A., where her areas of expertise are civil litigation, and trucking and transportation. Ms. Braswell worked ten years as in-house counsel for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company and its subsidiaries. Her practice focuses on premises liability, personal injury protection, trucking liability, negligent security, and automobile liability including uninsured/underinsured issues. Ms. Braswell has taught many seminars for clients, adjusters, paralegals, and attorneys on a variety of insurance defense topics including but not limited to fraud defenses, uninsured/underinsured, personal injury protection, and bad faith and coverage issues. She earned her B.A. degree from Wingate University and her J.D. degree from Florida Coastal School of Law. Ms. Braswell is a member of The Florida Bar and Jacksonville bar associations. She also is a member of the Jacksonville Association of Defense Counsel and E. Robert Williams Inn of Court, Barrister. BILLIE JO TAYLOR is an associate with Boyd & Jenerette, P.A., where she specializes in civil litigation, coverage and bad faith litigation, and trucking and transportation. Ms. Taylor joined the firm in 2010. Prior to attending law school, she spent more than 15 years in the legal field starting her career as a legal secretary and eventually gaining enough experience and knowledge, along with a paralegal certificate, to provide services as a paralegal. Ms. Taylor's practice focuses primarily on insurance defense litigation involving automobile and trucking negligence, product liability, and premises liability. She earned her B.A. degree, cum laude, from the University of North Florida and her J.D. degree from Florida Coastal School of Law. Ms. Taylor is a member of The Florida Bar, and Jacksonville, Clay County and Federal bar associations. She is active in the Jacksonville Women's Lawyer Association (current board member).
