ALAN H. ARONSON is a shareholder in the Florida law firm of Akerman Senterfitt LLP, where he practices in the firm's Miami office. His practice areas include corporate law, securities, mergers and acquisitions, and finance. Mr. Aronson earned his B.A. degree from The State University of New York at Binghamton and his J.D. degree from Northwestern University. He is the current chair of the Business Law Committee of the Dade County Bar Association, and a former chair of the Corporations, Securities and Financial Services Committee of The Florida Bar's Business Law Section. STUART P. DAWLEY is the founder and president of Mediation Settlement Solutions, LLC. Mr. Dawley is a Florida Supreme court certified circuit court mediator. He started his career for the Cellular Infrastructure Group of Motorola. Mr. Dawley joined AirNet Communications Corporation, and progressively increased his responsibilities during his ten year tenure as a chief legal officer and chief marketing officer. He joined Exigent International Inc. as an executive vice president, and helped the company attain and maintain a Nasdaq listing by instituting corporate governance reform at the management and board levels. In 2007, he retired from the practice of corporate law and spent the next two years as an assistant state attorney prosecuting more than 3000 cases as an intake lawyer and trial lawyer in Florida's 18th circuit. Mr. Dawley earned his B.A. degree, with honors, from the University of Iowa, College of Liberal Arts & Sciences; and his J.D. degree, with distinction, from the University of Iowa, Boyd College of Law. Mr. Dawley completed post graduation training: The Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School, International Negotiation. MICHAEL A. LAMPERT is a Florida Bar board certified tax lawyer in private practice in West Palm Beach, Florida, where he concentrates his practice in the areas of taxation, business and estate planning, and administration, with an emphasis on tax controversy matters. Mr. Lampert frequently lectures before both professional and community organizations, including such organizations as The Florida Bar, the Palm Beach County Tax Institute, Palm Beach County Chapters of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Palm Beach-Martin County Estate Planning Council, the Palm Beach County Bar Association, Hunter College, the University of Florida School of Law Graduate Program in Taxation, the University of Miami School of Law Graduate Program in Taxation and the Tax Section of the American Bar Association. He also served for many years as an instructor in the Continuing Education Division of Florida Atlantic University. Mr. Lampert earned his A.B. degree from the University of Miami; his J.D. degree Tel Aviv Faculty of Law, joint program with Temple University School of Law, Ramat Aviv, Israel and Duke University; and his LL.M. degree from New York University. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1983; the Bars of Pennsylvania, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Tax Court in 1984; to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces in 1995; and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida in 2000. Mr. Lampert is a member of the Taxation, Real Property, Probate and Trust Law, and Elder Law sections of the Florida Bar and both the National and Florida associations of Elder Law Attorneys, as well as South Florida Tax Litigation Associations. He is the chair elect of The Florida Bar Tax Section and has served as a director of its Education, Administration and Long Range Planning divisions. He received the 1993 Tax Law Award from The Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County and The Palm Beach County Bar Association. He is listed in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Law, in the Florida edition of Law and Leading Attorneys, and selected as a Super Lawyer in Florida Super Lawyers. He is also a fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel.
