EDWARD R. ALMEYDA is a sole practitioner. He has been a state mediator for the Division of Administrative Hearings since August of 2007. Previously, he was in private practice, specializing in workers' compensation and representing both employer/carriers and claimants over the preceding 34 years. He has authored a text in adjusting workers' compensation claims and has published numerous articles in this field.

GEOFFREY C. CURRERI is an attorney with Hurley Rogner Miller Cox Waranch & Westcott. He practices in the area of workers' compensation. Mr. Curreri earned his B.A. degree from Florida Atlantic University and his J.D. degree from St. Thomas University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Florida. Mr. Curreri is a member of the Florida Bar Workers' Compensation Section, Employment Law Section, American Bar Association and Society for Human Resource Management. He is a Human Resource Associate of Broward County and a Certified Instructor for CEU courses for the Florida Department of Financial Services.

LEOPOLDO GARCIA JR. is one of the founding members of Angones McClure & Garcia PA. He is in charge of the firm's workers' compensation division. His practice areas include workers' compensation, labor matters and employment discrimination. Mr. Garcia defends employer/carriers statewide and has a diverse portfolio of clients. He has also been a speaker at numerous workers' compensation seminars. Mr. Garcia earned his B.A. degree from Florida International University and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law. Mr. Garcia is currently the chairman of the Dade County Bar Association Workers' Compensation Section. He is a member of the Executive Council of the Workers' Compensation Section of The Florida Bar. He is also a past president of the Hispanic American Compensation Lawyers of America. Mr. Garcia is a member of the American Bar Association, the Dade County Bar Association, the Dade County Defense Bar Association, the Cuban American Bar Association, the Broward County Hispanic Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, and the Labor and Employment Section of The Florida Bar.
