BRETT ALAN PANTER is a partner in the Miami law offices of Panter, Panter & Sampedro, P.A. Mr. Panter is a board certified civil trial lawyer by The Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education. He has primarily practiced in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, products liability, nursing home neglect, aviation litigation and premises liability since 1984. Mr. Panter was a professor for Miami-Dade Community College, paralegal studies; and a participant in the nationally published Million Dollar Argument Series produced by Professional Techniques Library. He also was the host for Trial Talk and Law Talk, television shows sponsored by the Dade County Bar Association and is a charter member of the National Business Institute Florida Advisory Council. Mr. Panter is a member of the Dade County Bar Association, The Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He is a fellow in the American Academy of Trial Counsel, this group is limited to 2500 fellows nationwide. Mr. Panter also is an Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers Eagle Sponsor and a contributing member of FLAGG. He is a multi-engine commercial instrument-rated pilot in excess of 1800 flight hours and is a Coast Guard auxiliary pilot. Mr. Panter has been flying airplanes for more than 30 years and has been able to use his personal flight experience in aviation litigation matters. He has been recognized as a founding member of the Department of Homeland Security in his capacity as a United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Pilot. Mr. Panter earned his B.A. degree from the University of Michigan and his J.D. degree from the University of Miami. MITCHELL PANTER is a partner in the law firm of Panter, Panter & Sampedro, P.A., where he practices in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, product liability and premises liability. Mr. Panter also oversees the firm's day to day practice with six attorneys and a staff of 20. He has tried cases and represented clients throughout the state of Florida. Mr. Panter has presented oral arguments in several state and federal appellate courts, and has appeared before the Florida Supreme Court. He is board certified by The Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education as a specialist in civil trial law and by the National Board of Trial Advocacy in civil trial advocacy. Mr. Panter was a professor of paralegal studies at Miami Dade Community College. Mr. Panter also has lectured extensively on a variety of topics relating to personal injury, medical malpractice, trial practice and pretrial procedures. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Michigan and his J.D. degree from the University of Miami. Mr. Panter attended Wagner College in Bregenz, Austria while enrolled in a Junior Year Abroad Program. He is past president of The Pinecrest Business Association, South Miami Kendall Bar Association and the B'Nai Brith Bench & Bar. Mr. Panter also is actively involved in the community serving on several boards as a director and previously on the Board of Directors for Professional Bank.
