YVETTE EVERHART is an attorney with the Law Offices of Cynthia N. Sass, P.A., practicing labor and employment law and representing almost exclusively individuals. Ms. Everhart is admitted to practice in the state of Florida and the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida. She is a member of The Florida Bar (Labor and Employment Law Section and Young Lawyers Division). She also is the president-elect of programming for the Florida Chapter of the National Employment Lawyers Association. In 2006, Ms. Everhart was the recipient of both the Florida Bar Labor and Employment Law Dean W. Gary Vause Award, and the Judge Alexander Paskay Bankruptcy Award. She earned her undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Stetson University, and her J.D. degree from Stetson University College of Law. JOSHUA R. KERSEY is an attorney with the Law Offices of Cynthia N. Sass, P.A. practicing labor and employment law and representing almost exclusively individuals. Mr. Kersey is admitted to practice in the state of Florida and the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida. He is a member of The Florida Bar (Young Lawyers Division). Mr. Kersey interned with the 12th Judicial Circuit Court Counsel and won the William F. Blews Award for pro bono legal service. He earned his undergraduate degree from Florida State University, cum laude; and his J.D. degree from Stetson University College of Law. Mr. Kersey is a member of The Florida Bar (member, Labor and Employment Law Section; Young Lawyers Division) and the Florida Chapter of the National Employment Lawyers Association. CYNTHIA N. SASS is the sole shareholder in the Law Offices of Cynthia N. Sass, P.A. Since 1990, she has concentrated her practice in the areas of labor and employment matters. Ms. Sass has been named as one of the Best Lawyers in America, as well as a Florida Super Lawyer every year since 2006, and for the past seven years has been selected as one of Florida Trend magazine's Legal Elite in the area of labor and employment law. She also was included in Who's Who in American Law in 2009. Ms. Sass is a member of the Florida Supreme Court Committee on Standard Jury Instructions and the American Bar Association (Labor & Employment Law Leadership Development Program and Employment Rights and Responsibilities Section). She also serves as employee co-chair of the American Bar Association's Labor & Employment Law Technology in the Practice and Workplace Committee and the Employment-at-Will Subcommittee. Ms. Sass is a board member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association (Trial Lawyer Section). She is a certified circuit court mediator for the state of Florida who was recently nominated as a Fellow of the College of Labor & Employment Lawyers. Ms. Sass earned her undergraduate degree from Smith College and her J.D. degree from the University of Richmond.
