RICHARD S. LOUDERMILK is a partner and member of the litigation practice group in the Sarasota, Florida office of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP. He focuses his practice on creditors' rights and commercial debt collection. Mr. Loudermilk represents clients at every stage of the collection process, from pre-suit negotiations through trial as well as post-judgment collection. His clients have included financial institutions, manufacturers, collection agencies, mortgage holders, and individual creditors. Mr. Loudermilk has acted as corporate counsel to collection agencies and debt purchasers, and he has extensive experience in commercial and consumer asset collection. He has advised corporate clients on the various issues affecting asset recovery, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and other federal and state statutes. In addition to his collection work, Mr. Loudermilk represents individual landlords, property management companies, and businesses in landlord-tenant disputes. His representation ranges from pre-suit lease negotiations to eviction lawsuits. Mr. Loudermilk is admitted to all state and local courts in Florida and Georgia, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the Georgia Supreme Court, and the Georgia Court of Appeals. Mr. Loudermilk is a member of the Sarasota County Bar Association, the Florida Bar and State Bar of Georgia. Mr. Loudermilk also is a member of the National List of Attorneys, the General Bar, the Commercial Law League of America, and the Lease Enforcement Attorney Network. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of South Florida and his J.D. degree from Emory University. REBECCA S. TRAMMELL is a professor of law, law library director, and director of electronic education at the Stetson University College of Law Library. She teaches basic legal research, advanced legal research and cyber law at Stetson, and is active in a number of professional organizations including the American Bar Association, the Florida Bar Association, the American Association of Law Libraries and the Southeastern Association of American Law Libraries. Ms. Trammell has made numerous presentations at national and regional conferences and her most recent presentation focused on the interface of technology and academic law libraries in today's rapidly changing environment. Her areas of interest and research include Internet legal research and classroom technology. Ms. Trammell's articles and bibliographies have been published in Northern Illinois University Law Review, John Marshall Law Review, Legal Information Alert, American University's The Modern American and AALL Spectrum. She earned her B.A. degree, cum laude, from Lindenwood University, her M.L.S. degree from Dominican University and her J.D. degree from the University of Denver School of Law.
